after an off-season mired in controversy Iowa State hopes to be in the headlines for anything other than its prior coaching staff. "we are allowing open competition at all positions, alot of people were promised things and i am not predisposed to make any decisions on the starters." said head coach sleepy gathers. the school will start with a traditional iowa state play book, and a 4-3. eventually however they plan on transitioning to a single back once the students are ready for it

    "Baaa-aa-aa-ah"

Leading the offense for the 2011 season is the sophomore running back C. Nwoke (82 OVR) who's youth and enthusiasm brings a spark to the team that will not be easily quenched. Along the offensive line, the experience and leadership from the starting senior left guard J. Gdowski (81 OVR) helps balance the offensive effort, and ensures that Nwoke will get lanes to explode through. The offensive coordinator had been taking notes from Wisconsin's success last season, and is planning to run a very similar (i.e. - the same) offensive playbook.

Defensively, CSU's senior middle linebacker M. Kawulok (80 OVR) oversees the box on the line of scrimmage, bringing attitude to a staunch 4-3 run defense. Overseeing the secondary is the senior strong safety I. Herd (82 OVR) who has been delivering big plays on the ball in the air and bigger hits to opposing players for the past two seasons, and plans to up the ante even further in 2011.

Update with Season outlook after scheduling is set.

    OFFENSE

    KEY PLAYERS

HB - ROBBIE ROUSE -JR - 92 OVR
At 5'7" and 185 pounds soaking wet Robbie Rouse is what Coach Jman likes to call a water mocasin. Rouse can run, fast. Rouse can catch, very well. Rouse will break your tackles. Rouse will run around you, under you, and over you when the time comes. He's an offensive minded coach like Coach Jman's wet dream. This California boy put the nation on notice last year with glimpses of pure athleticism, look for this you man to be the anchor of the Bulldog attack this year.

    WR - EVANS/SAUNDERS - JR(RS)/SO - 82/81 OVR
It will be up tho these two to make the Bulldogs young quarterback calm down and make him get into his rhythm. While neither player has any particular attribute that sets them apart as far as speed goes, they are excellent route runners and in a two-back based offense that is just the ticket. Don't expect alot of homeruns, do expect solid and steady performances week in and week out.

    QB - DEREK CARR - SO(RS) - 77 OVR
Yep, its the same family you're wondering about. Little brother to the one time college stud and major NFL flopadopolus David Carr. Derek possesses many intangibles needed to run Coach Jman's offense and being only a Sophomore he will have plenty of time to grasp it all and put his own stamp on a program that his brother brought notoriety to. Though Coach Jman has referred to him as "Fucking cinder-block feet" he has a decent enough arm and very good awarenss to make up for it. It'll be Carr's job to get Rouse the ball and not fuck it up until he develops more.

    DEFENSE

    KEY PLAYERS

    DT - LOGAN HARRELL - SR(RS) - 91 OVR
Harrell was truly a force last year in a four front defense but the change to a three front may be an interesting one for the 6'2" 275lb Harrell as he will face more double teams that he thought imaginable, if he does his job. The thing about Harrell is he is one of the absolute most explosive DT's in the NCAA this season with 72 speed and uncanny pass and run defense moves, truly the anchor of the D.

    LB - TRAVIS BROWN - JR - 85 OVR

He can move, he's strong, he can hit, and he's got great awareness of what the offense is doing an what he needs to get his defense to do in order to stop it. He is undoubtedly the unquestioned vocal leader on the defensive squad and plays with his heart on his sleeve.

SS - DERRON SMITH - SO -80 OVR

The enforcer of the Bulldog defense in the secondary, roams the field with an uncanny ability to stick his nose in a run play but also has the ablity to go deep with receivers stride for stride. Can hit, can cover and he can finish...not to mention, he's still just a pup as a true sophomore but is the unquestioned starter in the same spot he ruled one year ago as a freshman.

    SYNOPSIS

The obvious and most impending news for the Bulldog family is the upcoming and eventual move to the Mountain West Conference after one more go-round in the WAC. As a whole the bulldogs are young and have the capability of controlling the pace of any game to their liking with Coach Jman's style of offense. The big key for Fresno State however will not be in their field this season but on the recruiting trail, it is an imperative that they take advantage of the hotbed that is California in finding all of the diamonds in the rough that do exist there.

    PREDICTION

    10-2 (6-1)

No idea what the scheduling is yet but this is my prediction and I don't care what any of you think about it!!!!

    Offense

Qb- Collin Klein [#7 ] Jr(Rs) 80 ovr- A little bit of a dual threat qb that will get to start for the first time. He dosent have a rocket of an arm but he can get the job done. Hopefully he learned a thing or two from the little experience he had on the field over the last few years that can help him get his team to a bowl game.

Hb-Bryce Brown [#4] Jr 87 ovr- Bryce was a great running back coming out of highschool that ended up not getting the playing time he expected when he originally attended the University of Tennessee. He transferred with his brother Arthur looking for a chance to start. With his ability to shake and run through you at the same time he definetly will get that chance to carry the load here at k-state. The coaches look foward to him getting at least 1200 yards this season.

Wr-Chris Harper [#3] Jr(Rs) 84 ovr- Harper is an athletic and verstaile wide reciever. He won't be the one to burn you but he has the abilty to get open by running great routes. Once he gets the ball he can get the Y.A.C with his ability to put a move on you. Kansas State will ne him to move the chains.

    Defense

DL- Brandon Harold [#91] Jr(Rs) 82 ovr- Brandon is a good pass rusher who doesnt have too many moves to get to the quarterback but has the speed to blow by lineman to get the sack.

LB- Arthur Brown [#46] Jr 86 ovr- Arthur also transferred to Kansas State like his brother Bryce but he came from the "U". He is a talented Lolb that is focused on stopping the run. He has great power behind his hits and doesn't miss a tackle. He will definetly strengthen the front 7 in his fist year at K-state.
Alex Hrebec [#56] Sr(Rs) 87 ovr- Leading the way at he Lb position as a senior, Alex is a physical Rolb that gets the job done. With Arthur on the other side the fans are expecting to see a dominating Lb core.

DB- David Garret [#27] Sr 90 ovr-The best player on the defense and the leader in the secondary, David is a versatile Cb. He can give run support and wrap the ball carrier and he can shutdown your best receiver. He is an intelligent Corner that doesnt get fooled by the same trick twice. He will definetly help keep the ball out the air and on the ground.

    Season Outlook
Coach Cnote expects to have a 9 win season and a bowl berth. It will be tough for that to happen with the long road head against some very tough opponents but it can be done.

    Playstyle

Kansas State plans to run a Multiple formation offense and throw alot of different looks at the defense. On the defense they will run the traditional 4-3.

(I'm a little late with this, sorry)

    Baylor Bears

Offense: The Bears Big XII and bowl hopes ride on the arm and legs of Junior quarterback Robert Griffin (III) in 2011. Surrounding Griffin on offense is a solid front along with an athletic but unproven group of skilled players, outside of receiver Kendall Wright. The Bears will ask a lot from their star quarterback as well as their offensive line who will have the pleasure of keeping griffin off his back while trying to open holes for a runnin

g game that looks to be a running back by committee heading into the season. The Bears will be running a spread attack with an emphasis on the run game. The offense will try and spread the defense out and find the holes.

Defense: On defense the bears are still a work in progress. An inexperienced secondary will have to do it's best to slow down dynamic passing attacks while an undersized defensive line will look to operate on a "Bend but don't Break" scheme. The Bears do have talent on defense led by Senior defensive tackle Tracy robertson and Senior linebacker Elliot Coffey.

    Impact Players:

[IMG] Quarterback #10 Robert Griffin (III) (ovr 95)

[IMG] Wide Receiver #1 Kendall Wright (ovr 89)

    [IMG] Linebacker #4 Elliot Coffey

What you won't be seeing this seaon are the new sweet Uniforms Baylor will be wearing in the Real World............
