    Texas A&M 31 @ Oklahoma 28

The Aggies never trailed in a game they needed, if they wanted to show that they were indeed a contender in the Big 12 race. "This was a huge day for our program", coach Davis declared. "Huge. Big profile team, on the road, it was all a great setup for a momentous victory!"

Was it ever. The player who really fueled the Aggies was head number two of the two-headed "monster attack" (as they call themselves), Cyrus Gray, who ran for a staggering 196 yards against the OU D-front and jaunted into the endzone 3 times. Tommy Dorman played well also, save for 2 interceptions, keeping Aggie drives alive all day on 3rd down, both with his arm and feet. He finished with 156 yards and a TD, while being intercepted twice (one of which went the other way for 6).

But the real hero of the day was the Aggie Defense. Oklahoma never found a rhythm on offense and had to punt a substantial amount of possessions, as well as QB Drew Allen being intercepted 3 times. OU WR Jaz Reynolds had another great day, catching 8 passes for 80 yards and a TD.

Notes of interest: OU RB Jermie Calhoun, who rushed for well over 150 yards last season in the same contest, only had 3 yards in the game.

Lag in the final 2 minutes of the game may have thwarted a desperate OU attempt at a come back, although OU did find their way into the endzone with 34 seconds remaining to cut it to the final margin.

Coach Sux via headset: "They played smart. 1 less interception, and just played a good game overall. It's unfortunate!"

Thanks for the great game last night Jayrah and summary. I let one slip away, but I do not discredit your great game. That was a tough one. You deserved it.

Thanks bro. You played a pretty good game yourself. Your line just didn't hold up at times and gave up some big runs in crucial situations
