    2011: Week 2 "Tweet Board"

Welcome back to the hottest thread in 2011! "The Night Owls Big Picture & Tweet Board: Presented by Twitter" was a huge hit during a wild week 1, in which every Night Owls league team won its matchup (save for the idle Hawkeyes) for the first time in league history! Let's keep the tweets going as we roll into some big matchups in week 2!

*The N.O. National Championship Race is officially a heated war. Interested to hear what snippets Ohio State has this week after being jumped by Texas. On the other hand, Texas is going into a battle this week against a mad Iowa team (at least by last weeks coach talk), and OSU gets to face a less talented CU squad, albeit in Boulder.

*Injuries already hitting hard as Oregon and Arizona lose some key components in only week 1.

*7 of the top 10 nationally ranked teams are Night Owl League affiliated.

*Game of the week will pit national title contender Oklahoma against the national favorite USC, in Los Angeles.

From Madison - Ball was able to go a complete game as the starter without fumbling the ball. Note - stick em works for running backs also.

The Aggies are both disappointed and encouraged by their game against the Bruins. "We let one slip away, and after all that way back.... we just couldn't make a tackle in the open field and it hurts, but we see how much better we are this year with a comeback like that. We couldn't do that last year, so this is a good step for our team. We're growing" Coach Roshaun Pesho Davis said after the game.

USC backs up Willamson guarantee with a statement win against Oklahoma. Should be unanimous in first place in all polls!

Heisman Hopeful DILLON BAXTER went down in the 4th quarter against OKLAHOMA, and didn't return. His status for next weeks game is pending an MRI on Monday morning.

Coach Smith when reached for comment stated, "RB is a position we feel strong in. BAXTER will be hard to replace, but we have talent with the potential to do so.."

Westwood, CA - The Bruins return home from College Station Texas with the win but lose yet another WR for the year. Last week it was Josh Smith, the #2 wideout for 11 weeks. This week, it was Jerry Johnson, who was playing as the #3 wideout was lost for the season with a broken clavical (or something like that...going off memory). The Bruins get a Bye week, much needed after 2 tough road games.
