    #8 USC 56
    Washington St 7

The trojans traveled to washington st and handled business against the pac-10 foe. The trojan defense was stout all game holding the wildcats to only 107 yards of total offense. Corp had a very efficiency day passing throwing 5 TD's and the 2 headed rushing attack of Mcknight and Tyler combined for 251 yards and 3 TDs. USC takes on Cal next week.

6 turnovers really sealed my fate in this one. Played a bit better than my first game against WSU but still a long way to go for the Bruins.

    Penn State vs Northwestern
    W32-15

Penn State was in a dog fight for most of this game, but were able to pull away in the 4th with a couple of big plays. The Nittany Lions were led by their finally healthy AA QB Kevin Newsome who combined for 361 total yds and 4 TD. Penn State's bend but don't break D held the Wildcats to 243 yds and coming up with a huge INT late in the 4th. Next up for the Nittany Lions are the Buckeyes. Getcha popcorn....should be a good one.

    Clemson - 38
    Virginia Tech - 35

Down 28-7 early in the 2nd quarter, the Tigers never blinked and scored the next 28 points and eeked out a last second field goal to secure the victory against a VERY tough Hokie team.

Next up is Georgia Tech. I just hope we can keep it close!!
