Last year, the Colts had a terrible season. Mostly do to the injury of QB Peyton Manning. The 2011 season resulted in the Colts getting the 1st overall pick in the draft, which they used on QB Andrew Luck. QB's like Luck dont come around very often,so the expectations for Luck are pretty high.

The Colts also drafted a pair of Tight Ends,Dwayne Allen out of Clemson, and Andrew Luck's favorite target at Stanford, Coby Fleener.)

The Colts do have and undistinguished offensive line, unimpressive Running Backs, and about no receiving depth behind Reggie Wayne.

Defensive wise, the Colts are pretty bad. They were near the bottom in every category last season, and theres a chance it could be more of the same this season.

The Colts also have a new Head Coach coming into this season, former Ravens Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano.

Most notably, other than Manning, the Colts parted ways with HB Joseph Addai,WR Pierre Garcon, TE Dallas Clark, three starting offensive lineman and two starters from the defensive back seven,so there are plenty of holes to fill.

So at the end of the day, the expectations for Indy in 2012 are not that high at all. The team is totally revamped, and dont be surprised if the Colts are in the top 5 of the draft again.
