First Day on the job Coach Badger signs one of his 7 available 4* athletes in Waco, TX Senior Stephen Moore. He is able to play multiple positions such as HB or CB.

The Cornhuskers have reportedly stopped recruiting several top prospects that including the #1 HB and #1 MLB due to the players looking like they are headed in other directions.

Offense: It's all about stopping the QB here; he dropped back to pass about twice as much as he handed it off. Effective off tackle and up-the-middle runs, plus an efficient medium pass game make it tough, but the real danger here is the fast QB scrambling on third down; mostly when your defense is spread out by a 5 receiver set.

Defense: Solid run defense; someone was generally in the backfield on every run play. I'm pretty sure I had negative rushing yards; keep in mind my O-line is average at best. Look for a lot of one-on-one coverage down the field, but be prepared to get the ball off in a hurry. Nebraska was very effective at exploiting holes in the o-line. Tended to drop 7 to 8 men in coverage on third downs.

    Good game.

Hosting their biggest recruiting weekend of the year thus far, the Huskers signed 3 prospects after their big win over rival Missouri. Nebraska was able to reel in #1 ATH ***** Andrew Hall, #7 C **** Justin Daugherty, and #18 WR **** Dominique Cooley. This completes half of Nebraska's class for the year as the Huskers will have to continue to search for prospects with only 6 scholarships available.

Nebraska has just 1 recruit to sign and it looks like they will wait until the off-season to see if any recruits pop out of the woodwork.
