    I went with Randall Green because even though he wasn't quite as flashy, he was integral to the Arizona defense, even as a true freshman.

    A bit of a homer question by me, but I'm shocked that he is being nearly ignored considering that he had significantly more big plays.

    I liked Jenkins but I gave Williams the edge since he probably had to fight through more blocks to get his stats. Really Green's numbers are pretty mediocre for a MLB if you ask me, and I know none of you did. Well except Recchem.

    Randall Green surely had a 15 tackle game taken away with a couple INT's had I been able to play the game :)

    What can I say, these guys evidently think making a bunch of tackles 5 yards downfield is worth more than makingthe most impact plays for what was the best defense in the nation (at least when I controlled them). SMH

    Four picks and 70 tackles is really good season for a freshman MLB, I think so anyways. MLBs aren't usually flashy, especially in a 4-3. And 70 seems like a high number of tackles, playing 8 minute quarters.

    Josh Tyler wasn't even in the voting. 4 rushing TDs, and 4 recieving TDs (on like 25 receptions). Fullbacks get no love. Wish this game tracked pancakes properly. He was a major cog in my offense, as a true freshman. I know he wouldn't have won, but I thought I'd give him his props nonetheless. ;)

    22 less tackles, 3 less ints than the winner. How is that robbed?

    The BEST defense in the nation. He didn't have to do it all himself.

    From OLB though, with much less traffic to deal with and probably 10x the amount of blitz opportunities. And with one of the best d-lines in the country, that's an average year at SC. Come on Dru! I'm not saying he wasn't one of the best, but he wasn't THE best.
