    Week 1

Got an instant commit from Dan Sutton a :4stars: offensive tackle out of Alabama. Sutton has been a long time Canes' fan and jumped at the opportunity to play for the team. For Miami he fills a need at offensive tackle but the team still plans to recruit for other positions on the offensive line. Sutton is a little small for his position but the coach is hopeful he will bulk up after getting on campus and working out with trainers.

The Hurricanes signed 4 offensive prospects between weeks 6 and 9. The most important signing was :5stars: Terrance Reid a wide receiver out of Texas. He is the #2 WR in this group according to Rivals.com and fills a vital need for Miami. The Hurricanes lose 4 wide receivers after this season and the team has little talent on the current roster to fill those spots. :5stars: Shawn Rodgers should develop into a starter but he will need to bulk up. He may sit out next season to work with Miami's strength and conditioning coaches. Robinson and King add depth to Miami's offensive line. Both players have shown a lot of promise. King may be shifted to tackle since Miami already has its center of the future in Rodgers.
