Antonio Jones will be getting some opportunities as #5 WR. He was set to be the #6 but I lost a receiver for the season in the restart against Nebraska. Chris Dunkley is out for the season with some injury. Jones is also my #2 kick returner so he could make some plays on special teams.

Other than Jones my only freshmen are my #3 HB, a few offensive linemen and my backup safety/dime back.

    HB Jason Robinson (FR) - 99 CAR 512 YDS 7 TD 1 FUM 1 REC 7 YDS

    FS Alex Smith (RS-FS) - 1 TKL
SS Thomas Robinson (FR) - 1 TKL

Robinson is without a doubt my star freshman. Jackson will start contributing more as I get the offense more acquianted with the spread that we will be adopting next season, with or without QB AJ McCarron.

    Denotes a starter

Robinson has continued to be very productive. He's #6 in rushing yards and #1 in rushing yards for freshmen. The impressive stat is 16 TD which leads the NCAA for rushing TDs. Braxton Jackson has struggled in his mop up duty and has caused coaches to rethink their strategy for next season if McCarron stays. Rouse has had good efforts as the 3rd back but probably won't see much more time with the final 2 opponents being significant threats.

Breaking News: Jason Robinson Out for Season with Torn Shoulder

    Answers to Knight's questions:

    1. Braxton a lil erratic at times? Does he have scramble ability?

Yes to both questions. I think I'm trying to force him into the traditional QB mold and it hasn't had good results. The offensive line hasn't done well in holding black and has prevented him from breaking many runs open.

    2. Rouse more of a power back?

I'm not gonna be quick to label Rouse yet. He is equally gifted throughout is skill set and doesn't really do anything special to garner a signature move. He'll get more reps backing up Eddy Lacy for the rest of this season so I may have to rectract my statements.
