    2012 Gator Swamp Talk

    Week 1 - Florida vs. Boise State (W 62-14)

It appeared as though Boise was going to hang with Florida for the entire game. It was tied at 14 after 1. Once Florida got their act together, it was evident, that was not going to be the case. Two pick sixes added insult to injury and the Gators knocked the Bronco's #1 HB out for many weeks.

    Key Injuries:

Boise- HB Malcolm Johnson- 8 Wks(Broken Tailbone)

    Key Players:

Florida- HB Doug Bryant- 123 yd and 3 TD's on 21 rushes. (5.8 avg.)

    Boise- QB Joe Southwick- 19/29 296 yd with 2 TD's and 2 INT's.

    Week 2 - Florida vs. Michigan (W 20-13)
This game was really a tale of two halves with Florida contolling the first half. Two Rust FG's and a rushing TD by Bryant made it 13-0 and they would get the ball back at the start of the 3rd quarter.

In the second half, these teams played completely opposite from the first half and the Wolverines mirrored the Gator's score by scoring 13 unanswered points. On a Gator 3rd down with 1:25 left in the game, Reed threw a lazer to Debose, who's man had gotten out in front of him and he took it 63 yards for paydirt. Michigan would get one shot to tie the game. The Wolverines took the ball into Gator territory and with about 30 yards to go and 4 seconds on the clock, Forcier was picked off sealing the victory for the Florida Gators.

    Key Injuries: None

    Key Players:

Florida- WR Andre Debose- 2 rec | 104 yds | Game winning TD

Michigan- HB Vincent Smith/Isaiah Jones- Combined 22 carries | 125 yd | 5.7 avg. | Kept numerous drives alive

Number 2 Greatest game of all time on my Box and I've played a lot of games. Great game Vredesbyrd.
