With both Aces shutdown to start the season Oakland will turn to veteran Bartolo Colon who last season started 26 games for the New York Yankees and had a record of 8-10 with a 4.00 ERA, Colon will need to be sharper this season to help Oakland. On the offensive side Oakland has some really good talent but a few players I think are going to have break out seasons are 2B Jemile Weeks, RF Seth Smith, and Rookie CF Yoenis Cespedes. Some other rookies that could make an impact in Oakland this year is SP Jarrod Parker, SP Brad Peacock. Once everything is said and done I believe we will be contending for a wild card spot and possibly the division.
