Offense: The Ducks definitely favor the running game, mostly out of the shotgun or pistol, but did a good job mixing in the pass. They really chewed up the clock. Didn't give up on the run, even when they weren't having much success. Be ready, they will likely test every part of your defense with runs to the left, right, and up the middle. Also, be aware of the occasional QB run. Favorite targets in the passing game were WR Diante Jackson and TE Dion Jordan.

Defense: This is what got me, pressure. I tend to "wander" with my QB a bit too much, and set myself up on occasion, but the pass rush, was relentless. I found some openings on quick slants over the middle, but there seemed to be an unblocked guy in my backfield ever time I dropped back. Especially watch the MLB Boseko Lokombo on the blitz. My QB threw a number of those scarry floater passes after being hit. Tmac, did a good job sniffing out my screen passes as well. I was having moderate success running, but time became a factor.

Oregon picked up its first recruit of the 2013 class when four star free safety Graham Dowdell chose to attend Oregon. Dowdell is the No. 10 FS and No. 164th prospect overall. The 6'0 201 hard hitter was the No. 1 FS in the state of California.

Offense: Mixed up passing and running plays in this game. His passing game was very effective and he often found open receiver despite pressure. I think his qb only threw 5 incomplete passes in this game. He torched me with his tight end when I called a heavy blitz. Run game was slowed down by defense but he did a good job mixing in run plays with HB and QB. Ran a few QB designed run plays and some scrambles in pass situations.

Defense: My running game was very effective in this game, not sure if that is refelective of my offense or his defense. Run game opened up some pass lanes but he stopped me cold in 3rd and long situations. He also snagged a pick on a short curl route to my HB.

Oregon inked what it hopes to be the first of two TE's this season when three star Paris Anderson decided to make Oregon his new home. Oregon coaches loved his size (6'5, 270pounds).
