    2011 Penn State Nittany Lions
    Beaver Stadium: 107,082

This triple-decker stadium ranks as the second-largest stadium in the country. The unbelievable number of fans who file in every week generate a great deal of noise too, especially the student section, which has been called the loudest by ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit. On game day at Beaver Stadium, all fans wear white and create the best white-out in college football.

    2011 Offense

This edition of the Penn State of fense will feature a grind it out, smash-mouth style of football that is expected of by Pennsylvania's top college football team. Junior QB will get the first crack at comandeering the Lions. However, So. sesnation Rob Bolden is breathing down his neck. Due to a season ending injury to RB Silas Redd, Senior Tailback Stephon Green will lead the running attack. Expect a monster season from Green. Junior Justin Brown leads a solid, if not spectacular receiving corps. Penn State's offensive line, though not great, should be solid.

    2011 Defense

Linebacker U's next great linebacker will be Junior Michael Mauti. He will captain the defense from all three Linebacker positions in Penn State's 4-3 defense. Penn State should field a consitent and even defense that the Nittany Lions are historically known. The Defense will be solid, Mauti will Star!

    2011 Prediction
For a team not ranked in the Top 25, alot of teams are gunning for the Nittany Lions. Penn State has arguably the toughest scheduke in the nation, featuring 7 top 25 teams. Including #2 Alabama, 2-time defending Champion #6 Ohio State, and a visit to #13 South Carolina. Look for the Lions to finish 3rd in the Big 10 with an 8-4 record and possibly a Jan 1st appearance in the Outback Bowl. However, the Lions could definately pull out an upset or two, they are a year away from seriously contending for a National Title.
