This had all the makings of being another "Game Of The Century", everyone had hoped these two squads would be undefeated at this point of the season & they came close but both defenses were unable to stop the Utah running back. Now they're ranked 8th & 9th respectively but need a lot of help to jump back into National Title hopes & even a little more help to win there side of the conference. USC is coming off a big victory over previously ranked Arizona who they blew out. Oregon looks to bounce back from the loss to Utah while there other conference foe's Cal & Stanford continue to rebound from the slow starts to there seasons.
In the SEC, LSU escapes there 2nd straight scare and holds the #1 spot after a 28-21 victory over our own Missouri team. Missouri got down early and came flying back to tie things up, only for a last second touchdown to kill there hopes of the upset. Arkansas blew out a lowly ECU team, even saw where the coach said he could have easily hung 100 on them...damn. South Carolina's struggle-some season continues as they suffered a loss on the road in Neyland Stadium, 41-35. South Carolina currently sits at 5-5 with a game against Arkansas which they are doubtful to win & then a road trip to Clemson. They need 1 win to become bowl eligible & it will most likely come against Clemson. The Tigers have struggled & even lost to Duke. Our boys out in Texas, they're still struggling, at least on defense. The Aggies got down early 35-10 and fought there way back into it against Auburn and late in the 4th held the lead 55-49 until a late Auburn touchdown would be the final nail in the coffin as they fall 56-55 in Auburn. A&M is another team that's fighting for bowl eligibility. They're 3-5 and need to win 3 of the next 4 against Mississippi State, Alabama, Kentucky & Missouri.
The B1G continues to be led by Michigan, the Wolverines keep winning but they keep dropping in the polls. Last week, they cruised to a 38-13 victory over Nebraska. Does anyone remember when Nebraska was 4-0 and ranked 10th ? They Cornhuskers have dropped 5 straight since. The Pedo Bears traveled to Columbus and got raped (too soon?) 41-13 by the Buckeyes & in East Lansing the Fighting Illini & Spartans put the fans to sleep but in the end Illinois came away with a late score & a 17-13 victory.
So now for this week's big game, can USC's defense show up? They've been hit or miss this season especially coming from a defensive minded head coach. Which receiver will come up big for USC, Lee or Woods? The scoring & excitement might have gone away when Barkley went down but back up Cody Kessler has stepped in and done an outstanding job. For Oregon, they'll need to play smart & not turn the ball over. As flashy as they dress, they weren't too flashy last week on the field last week. The defense got scorched on the ground & through the air and the Trojans have that same potential. The Duck's might be ranked higher but on the road, I feel they're the underdog....

OSU receives scare from Toledo but prevails 27-17. Braxton Miller threw 3 TDs but also 2 INTs. He found some good running room though along with RB Carlos Hyde who broke the century mark. The Defense played lights out for the most part. They did allow the 17 pts, but gathered 7 sacks. OSU now gets a bye and then travels to Wisconsin to face the always tough Badgers.

"If you have a restart you will be penalized with the loss of 33% of your scholarships for next season. The burden of proof is on you to show why there was a restart."

For all you new guys or even old guys who have forgotten... This is in the rules. Very important to take a pic and post or PM or text it to me. Or.. get someone who is online to verify score and situation. If you are losing, you should get a pic :)

    Badgers Bust Through Trojans
    [IMG]
why is this picture so big ?
Troy, AL -- After week's of embarrassing losses to Iowa & Purdue, Wisconsin looked to shake the road game blues & definitely didn't want to take the embarrassment one step further with a loss to Sun Belt's Troy. The Trojans took the opening possession but went a quick 3 and out on their home turf. Montee Ball opened up the Badger possession with two 10 yard rushes and then 3 straight passes from Danny O'Brien to WR Jeff Duckworth moved Wisconsin inside the Troy 5 yard line. A few plays later Montee Ball bounced in from a few yards out as Wisconsin held an early 7-0 lead. After Troy punted, Wisconsin went a quick 3 and out but the Badger defensed forced a 3 and out of their own snagging possession with a little over 2:00 remaining in the opening quarter. On first down, TE Jacob Pedersen was left wide open up the middle and O'Brien found the big man for the 38 yard touchdown to go up 14-0 late in the quarter. On the Trojan's next series, a 2nd & 5 handoff to running back Shawn Southland proved to be the "run of the year" as this 70 break tackle rated running back broke out of 5 tackles (all X button) and ran for the 66 yard score to only rail 14-7. Wisconsin didn't go anywhere with there turn & gave it right back to Troy. Another hand off to Southerland went into Wisconsin territory & then a dump off to the back who broke a few more tackles went inside the Wisconsin 15 yard line.
At the start of the 2nd quarter, Troy QB Corey Robinson was facing a 3rd & 9 and lobbed up a pass to WR Eric Thomas, Badger CB Devon Smith wouldn't react to the xbox controller & Smith hauled in the reception for the first down but Smith wasn't done, Smith was surrounded by 4 Badger defenders and shook off 3 tackles while the other defenders stood around and watched Smith run into the endzone to tie things up at 14. The two teams went back and forth with a few possessions before Wisconsin got the "Ball" rolling & began to pull away. With a little over 4:00 in the quarter, O'Brien converted a 3rd & 10 with a 20 yard completion to WR Jared Abbrederis and Wisconsin rode the momentum into the endzone when Abbrederis hauled in another 20 yard pass from O'Brien, this time for the touchdown to once again be back on top 21-14. After Troy was unable to convert on a 3rd & 19 the next drive, Wisconsin was looking for more. A little over 1:00 remained in the opening half but facing a short yardage situation, a hand off to Montee Ball went further then expected as the senior broke through and busted off a 36 yard touchdown run to put the Badgers up 28-14.
James White opened the 2nd half with a kickoff return into Troy territory but after O'Brien was sacked on 2nd & 3rd down the Badgers were forced to punt. The Wisconsin defense continued to dominate except for 2 big plays from the Troy offense that had kept them in it. Another punt gave Wisconsin the ball & on first down Montee Ball broke off a run down to the Troy 20 yard line but once again a big sack on 3rd down forced Wisconsin out of field goal range. Wisconsin sent the house on 3 straight plays and forced Troy into a 4th & 20 and once again the punter's were stealing the show in the 3rd quarter. A James White 15 yard run on first down moved Wisconsin to the Troy 30, on the next play O'Brien hit WR Chris Hammond who snagged the reception and ran to the 10 yard line, a Ball run moved to the 5. On 2nd down, Abbrederis was found in the back of the endzone for his 2nd touchdown of the game as Wisconsin was now on top 35-14. The Trojans went no huddle on there next drive and moved into Wisconsin territory before Troy QB Corey Robinson underthrew a pass and Badger CB Devon Smith intercepted the pass and was tackled on the spot. After a Montee Ball 10 yard run, O'Brien found Abbrederis again. This time off play action for the 75 yard score late in the 3rd & that would be it from the Badger first team.
The 4th quarter was all ground game from the Badgers with 2nd stringer James White & 3rd stringer Melvin Gordon. Robinson would move Troy into Wisconsin territory on numerous no huddle drives but the last 3 possessions were all intercepted by corners Devon Smith, Jeniel Jean and even linebacker AJ Fenton snagged one. Late in the quarter, Melvin Gordon tacked on another Badger touchdown as Wisconsin gets back on the good end of things and defeats Troy 49-14. Wisconsin will now host Indiana & Ohio State back to back after the 4 game road trip.

Just throw out the results and sim the game to a loss i didnt take a pic so id rather have a loss than lose 33 percent of the scholarships because Im already way behind on talent and to lose 33 makes it completely impossible to even come close to closing the gap. I lost plenty in TMFL and to the cpu in TMFL.

Just letting you know going forward. Not gonna penalize you this time, just make sure you follow the rules.

And it's not an option... you restart without evidence there is no and/or... its 33% loss of scholarships. Period.

    Almost gave it away

Was just one of those games in Champaign and the snow. It was a struggle because the Illini squad apparently put on the wrong cleats and struggled to keep their footing. It started out as everyone of the Illini games have so far this year no points in the 1st quarter. Illinois had the ball most of the 1st quarter on a 16play drive that led to no points. This offense seems to be in neutral alot of the games but they managed to add points on in the 2nd quarter scoring 10 points to take a 10-0 lead. Including a 44yd td to Lankford with time running out right before the half ended. The third quarter was more running the ball and just moving down field as Illinois would add a fg to take a 13-0 lead but Iowa would come back and score on a 17yd pass to make it a 13-7 game. Illinois would finally move the ball and stick it in from one yard out as Ferguson would get his touchdown and give the Illini a 20-7 lead with 3:43 left in the game and Illinois decided to not go for 2 points and that could of costed them in this one as Iowa would score a td with 1:43 left to make it a 20-14 game. Illinois would recover the onside kick but on the next play would fumble the ball and Iowa would score to take a 21-20 lead with 1:31 left in the game. Illinois had 3 timeouts and would use 2 of them on the drive and Young finally getting back from Injury was a workhorse in this game and would get into the endzone with 37 secs left but the 2pt conversion would fail and Illinois would have a 26-21 lead. Iowa Had 2 timeouts and the ball but wouldn't get to the Illini side of the ball as Buchanan would get a sack on the first play costing the Hawkeyes 10 yards and they would go for it on 4th and 1 with a running play and get stuffed by DT Spence and the Illini would take a knee from that point on to pull off the victory

Wait, I'm #5 in the BCS  You fuckers in the Pac-12 can't beat freaking Utah, WTF??? And fuck me if KState and GTech run the table. Of course, that LSU/Arkansas game will be huge. I never have a chance to win shit so I'll be pissed if I do somehow run the table only to be on the outside looking in :( Thankfully, alot of football to be played yet.
