You all still want a piece of me ;) Not much defense played in this one but the Spartans cruised despite the somewhat close score. Hell, even the 2nd team guys got into this one. SJSU put up 579 yards of offense, scored on special teams and scored on defense. All in all, a great effort on the road for the the Spartans. Next Louisiana Tech visits for another important WAC game.

    SJSU Stats
QB Dasmen Stewart 16/20 353 Yards, 5 TD, 1 INT
HB David Freeman 13 Carries, 137 Yards, 1 TD
    TE Ray Rodriguez 5 Catches, 87 Yards, 2 TD's
OLB Keith Smith 5 Tackles, 4 Solo, 1 TFL, 1 INT

For those of you without kids out there, just know that kids can interfere with NCAA time. I played a bit of my game earlier, paused it for about 45 minutes to take care of the baby, came back and ran my play for a TD, and then the whole game froze with me about to go up 10-3 in the 2nd.

    Memphis - 24
    Houston - 19

This game wasn't pretty, but hopefully the visiting recruits were pleased with the win. Memphis was covered in snow, and the play was sloppy. Memphis averaged just 4.1 yds/rush and 5.8 yds/pass, but it was worse for Houston at .7 and 5.9. The big difference was a 68 yard touchdown run in the third to go up 21-10. Up next: undefeated UCF with a possible CUSA Championship Game berth on the line.
