    UTEP 38
    Marshall 33

After falling behind 21-7 early, UTEP battles back and and holds off Marshall to win 38-33 and extends their winning streak to 6 games. UTEP's starting QB Carson Meger threw three first half touchdowns before getting hurt late in the 2nd quarter, backup true freshman QB Mike Ruffin led UTEP to a closer than expected victory over Marshall. UTEP is now 9-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play this year. Next week UTEP will host Memphis in what should be another tough matchup.

    #11 UCF - 21
    Memphis - 28

Memphis gets its biggest win in recent history beating unbeaten UCF behind some big plays from their defense. The offense was fairly efficient but ended up wit 3 interceptions. The biggest plays were the two interceptions. One came on the final play of the first half. With Memphis up 14-7, UCF had the ball on the 5 and threw into the where Huelsing came up with the pick. After Memphis went up 21-7, UCF came right back to tie it up 21-21. UCF got the ball back and got close to midfield, but McPherson got the pick and took it 52 yards for the game winning touchdown.

Up next is UTEP. If Memphis wins, these teams will likely rematch in the CUSA Championship game. If Memphis loses, they will need Southern Miss or Tulane to beat UCF to get to the Championship game and face UTEP again.

Kent State betas Miami University 26-7.

Kent Stat'es kicker Freddy Cortez was 4/4 on field goals for the day and at one point Kent State had a 12-7 lead. Kent State could have dominated this game if they would have been able to score in the red zone, instead they had these 4 field goals. The defense put up one hell of a performance though, as they only allowed 1 TD and on one drive stopped the offense 3 consecutive times on 2nd and goal on the 1, 3rd and 2 and 4th and 2. Miami University only crossed half one other time.
Kent State advances to 7-3 with this win.

Do you need me to play this game? I would hate for you to lose your chance at winning the WAC because you couldn't play your game because it was your wife's birthday. I know at the end of the day the Spartans will lose to the Vandals, but that game should be remembered as the WAC Championship, and not as the game where the Vandals rose to dominance in the WAC.

Aaron if you are around you can advance it too...you still have my info? Cougs might be doing it as I type though if cheez gave me back the commish...im thinking he's gonna hold onto it until we get to the CC so he can take a coordinator job without me having to kick him out of the league ;)
