Arkansas State starts off slow but turns it on the Golden Panthers for their 10th win of the season. Ryan Aplin, the Red Wolves QB, was the story in this weeks victory. Aplin went 17-24 for 226 yards and two Touchdowns, bringing his season stats to 144-262 for 2497 yards 24 TD and 11 INT. Aplin also put the ball in the endzone twice on the ground. Sir Gregory Thornton had a tough time running the football in this one as he went 21 times for 102 yards and a Touchdown. The Red Wolf Defense intercepts the Golden Panthers twice and stifled them on 3rd downs only giving up 3 first downs on 14 attempts. This win sets up a huge game in North Texas in two weeks as the Mean Green host the Red Wolves to see who will win the Sun Belt.

Everyone sorry for the delay, I played recchem's game last night and got the transfer fail message. I tried a few times to get it to work, and then said fuck it, I am going to bed. I tried advancing this morning, but was too busy, and then Darr did it for us. The best news is that somehow the SJSU game results saved. I do not know how, but they did.

No worries Forest, thanks for stepping in for me.

According to twitter or whatever, the transfer failed bug / glitch should be no more. Don't hold your breath though!

In addition your team fucking horrible, how do you play with that garbage? You should have told me I needed to run the ball like 50 times for your team to have any prayer. The only positives I can say your defense is not that bad for being a D+ the secondary got a few interceptions, and your QB can throw the deep ball when he needs to.

I didnt bitch and moan about playing with WSU for you did I :) Yes, they suck, I thought that was pretty common knowledge around these parts. Why do you think everyone wants to play me? Im not a great stick jockey but I can play the damn game with a decent team (im excluding the thrashing I took from Darr27z in AM the other night, I had my head up my ass and couldnt do anything right that game) The only reason my defense isnt that bad is because those 2 LB's and 1 CB are good...thats it! You should have known going in what you were in for!

In all fairness that thrashing is Dru50 fault. If I played anywhere near as well as I did vs you against Dru the score may have been a little closer. You just ran into me at a time were I was playing very aggressively. And your offensive line is horrible, not much you could have done.

I really dont think it would have. SJSU is really bad and I can not believe recchem wins more than 2 games a year with that team.

    Tulane 44

Shootout down in New Orleans. QB Ryan Griffin threw for almost 550 yards and WR Mark Ervin had an amazing game, as he hauled in 8 balls for 264 yards and a touchdown, but also added 243 kickoff yards and a touchdown there. This kid was all over the field. The Green Wave fell behind early, 17-7 and trailed at half 34-24. The Green Wave tightened down the defense in the second half, forcing 2 turnovers and a punt and allowing only 2 field goals. HB Orleans Darkwa ran for 67 yards and punched in 3 touchdowns. Tulane is looking for revenge against UCF next week for last years CUSA championship loss.

    SJSU - 28
    Hawai'i - 35

I only gave up 500 yards passing...not too shaby  Was in the game until the last minutes but couldnt muster a passing game to save my life. Another 9 sacks given up by my oline (this is a recurring theme with teams I use). SJSU is 5-5 with Idaho and Fresno State left on the schedule. Can they get that elusive 6th win?

    SJSU Stats
    QB Stewart 7/17 118 Yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 9 Sacks!!!
HB Freeman 21 Carries, 133 Yards, 2 TD
TE Ray Rodriguez 3 Catches, 53 Yards
OLB Smith 9 Tackles, 5 Solo, 2 TFL, 1 DEFL,

I hope you can beat UCF because if mboda beats me (as I expect), I need UCF to lose, so I can get a rematch in the Championship game.

I'll do my best. I need to beat them to finish in 4th place in the conference and achieve a goal, so I have interest too.

    Middle Tennessee Destroys Troy

    MTSU: 46
    Troy: 14

The stands were anything but packed, because many expected a repeat performance of the 70 point effort Troy put on the Blue Raiders last season. The first quarter did little to quell that thought, as Troy would score 2 special teams TDs and take a 14-3 lead into the second with their offense never having come on the field. However, MTSU was determined to not let that happen, and pitched a shutout the rest of the way while Cunningham rushed for a school record 340 yards on only 26 carries. Cunningham had 3 touchdowns as well, including 2 in the 28 point third quarter for the Blue Raiders.

The Blue Raiders are now 5-5 after the win, and are looking like they could possibly squeak into a bowl. A road win over 2-6 UL-Lafayette next week would certainly strengthen their cause.

You just dont like being the man. You cant handle the responsibilities of coaching a bad team to greatness and would rather leave to be a coordinator at a good school so you can fade into the background :p
