    ESPN Headlines

    Gameday
    Games of the Week:

    #7 Oklahoma at #11 Tennessee

Can Bryce Brown continue his ground domination against a stout Big 12 defense? OU's the pick on paper, but I'm sure coach Kog has something different in mind.

#10 Virginia at #15 Notre Dame

Considering Notre Dame probably has the faster team in this one, I wonder if they'll finally cut the grass at their stadium? Will coach MoGriff be able to make the 10 win mark in his first season at Virginia?

    #18 Texas at LSU

Big game for the Tigers. A win here probably puts them back into the top 25 and gives them a good boost of steam headed into their bowl game.

Unfortunately, both Michigan schools got waxed. So, Ohio St and Penn St are set at 3 and 4 respectively and looking to climb into the title game if Clemson or Auburn slips up this week or next.

Just as long as Auburn wins, all will be well.

Edit: Actually no matter who wins the SEC title game I still think Georgia gets a BCS bowl game.

    #1 Clemson - 31
    South Carolina -29

In the latest installment of this rivalry, heavy underdog South Carolina gave the top team in the land all it could handle. South Carolina stayed in the game due to some timely passes and a great defensive scheme. Late in the Fourth Quarter, the Gamecocks went up 29-28 behind a great pass to Gurley from McCollum. Clemson would respond by moving down the field and kicking a field to retake the lead for good. South Carolina had a chance to win at the 50 with 1:30 left, but the Clemson pass rush was too tough for the underdogs to overcome. Clemson gets to breathe a sigh of relief for a week before heading to Tampa to take on the VT Hokies in the ACC Championship Game.

    Stats - Clemson

    QB Tajh Boyd - 12/26 - 187 Yards - 2/2
    HB Andre Ellington - 35 Attempts - 162 Yards - 1 TD
    WR Bryce McNeal - 6 Receptions - 59 Yards
    WR Brandon Clear - 2 Receptions - 55 Yards - 1 TD
    DT Brandon Thompson - 10 Tackles - 3 Sacks
SS Carlton Lewis - 8 Tackles - 1 Forced Fumble
    OLB Derrick Perry - 6 Tackles - 3 Sacks - 1 Forced Fumble - 1 Fumble Recovery for TD

Wow Beazus got put on the ropes. Looks like that scoop and score by Perry may have been the huge difference in that game.

Couldn't stop the passing attack at all.
    Defense played terribly.

    Heels Dominate Cats, 34-0

UNC welcomed back starting HB Dallas Kirk who missed a few games due to injury and boy what a difference he makes. QB A.J. Blue played like ass completing a ridiculous 7 of 17 passes for 100 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT, but Kirk carried the Heels to victory with his strong legs. Kirk rushed for 144 yards and 3 TDs in his much anticipated return. The Heels defense clearly played great as they shut out the Bearcats and picked them off 3 times.

Now UNC will wait and see which bowl game they'll get to play in after a surprising 8 win season.

Nice win Jello. I definitely feel your pain. Losing your starting HB when your backup isn't ready yet is a killer. It's good to see that ratings do come into play somewhat. Hopefully next year we'll get 85 man rosters so we can have the depth we need to off set these injuries.

Sorry guys, I might not get to my game. Been working all the time and have take home work so I don't have any business turning on the box untill I finish. Plus I'm trying to get all of this done before I leave for Vegas Friday morning for a bachelor party for the weekend.

    LSU vs. Texas (W 38-25)

Texas had the ball first and went for it on 4th down on their own half of the field. They couldn't convert and LSU scored. It was history from then on.

The LSU D-line was on in the backfield all day long. Many TFL.

Shepard rushed for over 100 and Ford rushed for over 100.

Not a great showing for the #18 Longhorns.

    lets go.

gators is probably asleep by this time though since he has a respectable career in the works. georgia is happy to know that they should more than likely move into a BCS bowl.

more importantly though i would like to see next seasons recruits.

My team has gone to shit since the UNC debacle of a game.

I lost my RB in that game and against NDame, I lost my starting QB for the rest of his career.

For this game I didn't have my starting QB for damn near the whole game and my starting RB (who should play in the bowl game). I'm looking forward to next season in a way but then I'm not because recruiting hasn't been great neither.

BTW I somehow only lost 41-31.

Alabama beat the Badgers on the road. Can't recall the score off hand but I benched Jackson. I am done with him and will start Mccarron moving forward.
