    Atlanta -

The Falcons and Texans met in the Georgia Dome for a week 3 Hard Knocks match up. However, it seemed as if only one of them came to play football. Mistake after mistake cost the Texans the ballgame before it really even started. Miscues on offense and defense plagued Houston from the get go and they seemed to not want to really be there.

The main culprit in the demise of the Texans was QB Matt Schaub. He threw 3 interceptions, 1 of them being returned for a score, before being benched in favor of Houston native Vince Young.

Throughout the game Schaub consistently missed open receivers and really seemed to be out of synch with the rest of the offense. According to coach Kubiak, Schaub is most likely going to be benched in favor of Young in the coming weeks.

Schaub's agent Larry Rosengoldbloom released a statement saying that if Schaub were to be benched, he would request the Texans to seek a trade for the QB.

The Falcons didn't do anything special in this one. They simply took what the Madden gods gave them and took care of business. Atlanta improves to 2-1 on the season and look to keep their winning streak alive after losing in week 1.
