No predicting needed on this one as Texas opens a Sam's Club size can of whoop a$$ on the Wolverines. Texas wins 41 - 6. Michigan's four turnovers, three in the first half sunk the ship quickly. Dravannti Johnson is an animal and damn near unblockable.

    Texas - 41
    Michigan - 6

Defense and Ground Attack Carry Texas to Victory

The Longhorn defense scored the first two touchdowns of the game. The first came on Michigan's opening drive when Marcus Davis took a fumble 38 yards for the score. The second came when Cedric Lester ripped a Denard Robinson pass and rumbled 34 yards to the endzone. The Texas offense then scored two more times to put the game out of reach.

The offensive game ball goes to Tre Newton. He carried the ball 17 times for 81 yards and scored 2 touchdowns.

The defensive game ball goes to Dravannti Johnson. He abused the Michigan offensive line by sacking Denard Robinson 4 times.

Next up for the Longhorns is a Rivalry Game against Baylor.

If anyone hasn't noticed, Texas is pretty good. How did I end up in the same conference as this guy?

    #6 USC 48

    Washington St 0

"USC destroyed lowly Washington St with a defense that completely shutdown the WSU offense holding them to 89 yards of TOTAL offense and -17 yards rushing. They were also unable to stop Matt Barkley and the offense with his 4 TD passes. HB J Bolden filled in nicely for 142 Yards and 2 TDs of off 27 carries. The Trojans hit another bye next week before heading to Cal for another pac-10 matchup."

Three special teams touchdowns give the Red Raiders a much needed conference win on the road, 31 - 26 over KU.

Miami escapes Eugene with a victory

Both sides had little trouble moving the ball but the game came down to a pair of missed field goals by Oregon. The Ducks kicker missed a go ahead field goal with less than 10 seconds to go. Prior to the kick the Miami called a timeout and it worked in this case. With the missed field goal the Canes leave Oregon with a 28-27 victory. Leading the charge for Miami was the rushing attack of James and Darby. All together Miami gained 220 yards on the ground.

Full recap tomorrow or Friday with video highlight and pics.

This was a terrific game by Tmac and overall it was one of the most fun games I have played.

    UCLA - 21
    Oregon State - 14

The Bruins go into Corvallis and get a big conference win. Kevin Prince had a decent game, going 14-21 with 200 plus yards passing. He did throw 2 picks but the defense held the Beavers in check all day.

On a side note, can we use our punters as the field goal kicker? My kicker is god awful. His range is about 35 yards. He missed to FG's short that were under 40 yards.

Yeah I was worried about screwing up our winning streak since I was the last game left. Glad I managed to hold out for the win.

Thats good news. Not sure how good my punter will be at kicking FG's but he cant be any worse than the guy doing it now!
