A&M Hold on to Get 6th Win of the Season
The Bulldogs finally was able to slow own the FIU no huddle in the 2nd half and turned a 14-10 deficit at the half into a 31-21 win and made the Bulldogs bowl eligible for the year. The Bulldogs were lead by Senior QB Bernard Christensen as he went 27 for 33 for 377 yards and 3 TDs. The Senior has continued to improve all year as he is completing 66.4% of his passes for the year.

    Hurricane Golden in Win
    [IMG]
HUNTSVILLE, Texas --- There are days when life extends you a carrot. It may even let you touch it, or even take a bite from it. Usually, this will end with the carrot be yanked from you reach and life will slap you violently across the face. This is exactly what happened to Sam Houston State on Saturday.
The Bearkats played very competitively with a 7-1 Tulsa team that was heaviy favored coming in. The Bearkats took a 14-7 to lead into the break even after losing starting quarterback Brian Bell for the game on their first offensive possession.
    Then came the slap.
The Golden Hurricane dominated the Bearkats in the second half, outscoring them 35-14, en route to a convincing 42-28 win. Tulsa racked up 450 yards of offense in the win and picked off backup QB Mike Kendrick three times.
The Bearkats will return to the drawing board and hope they find what was working for them as they face a tough conference opponent in Utah State next week.
Tulsa 42, Sam Houston St 28
