    A Thin Win

Utah State finds a way not to lose against Ida-hoe.

FUM: recovered by USU A. Lapuaho for -1yds. I love this pic because the dude is on his head when he palms the ball.
      • Big play, though. He stopped an early drive for Ida-hoe.

Still, the Aggies will not be bowl eligible this year. We hit that nasty stretch mid-season where we couldn't do anything right. It killed us. One more win gets us to a 4-8 record, so we'll see if that holds my job for the next year. Luckily, the Utah State fans have never been spoiled by success.

A&M Holds on to Defeat Troy
    Improves to 8-4
The A&M bulldogs held on in the 2nd half as the Trojans went into superman mode and kept pulling within 7 points as the Bulldogs tried to bleed out the clock. But the Bulldogs made the plays they needed on offense and stayed just ahead of Troy and escaped with a 38-31 win. The win moves the Bulldogs to 8-4 on the year of hopefully a bowl bid.

Marquette Inches Past Kennesaw State to Become Bowl Eligible

    Marquette 17, Kennesaw State 10

Ryne Hamby led the Marquette Offense with 18 rushes for 140 yards and 2 TD. He has had an exceptional season, eclipsing the 1000 yard mark. Kennesaw State had a chance to tie the game late in the 4th, but MLB Michael Brantley snagged an interception on a pass thrown over the middle. Marquette awaits its fate as the Bowl Committee's select the teams. It was a successful first season for Coach E as the Golden Eagles finished the regular season 6-6.

Very disappointed as I was having immense trouble moving the ball versus the talented Louisiana Tech team. However, I was able to score late to send the game to overtime and had been shutting down their offense. Conveniently, I had a penalty and a sack when I started with the ball in overtime, pushing me out of field goal range. Magically, the Bulldog offense sprung to life and had no problem plowing into the end zone for the game winning score, ending the Bearkats dream of a season one conference title.
