3. CL Orlando Jaramillo (Los Angeles Dodgers) Pros: ++ Stuff, ++ Control, ++Movement, ++Velocity, ++ GB Rate. Stamina, Signability, Intelligence, Work Ethic Cons: Greed Notes: A key to a great bullpen is a solid closer, or even more preferably is a #1 who can pitch multiple dominant innings per game and give you about 100+ innings out of the pen. Wherever Recchem puts this kid, he is going to be special. His only only downside is his greed. Now... I ripped the #2 pick because it was not the best hitter available. If you are going to go for a pitcher in the #3 spot, this is your guy. Grade: A+
I knew it was a risk and I thought about it most of the day at work. I guess my reasoning is if he develops a third pitch, he can be a starter. If he doesnt, he can be Mariano Rivera type closer, going 2 plus innings if needed. Another plus was his bonus. Yet another reason would be if he did become the closer, I could move Papelbon and his salary. I know Earvin would appreciate that.
You should really try him as your #1 and setup role. Just curious how effective he would be for you and how many innings he can get with that 6 stamina...
Cool just got the tags will send 2-3 of you a list of my top 2 soon need to go to the pool and scout after my tcbl game so maybe 2 hrs from now i will send it.......
Nice pick by the way, he's going to be a good one. If his signability wasn't Very Hard for me I was going to try and trade up to get him.
Thanks was a tough choice some good looking studs out there. At the end his position settled it for me hard to find a 2b with his potential.
The Cincinnatti Reds select: RF Freddy Salazar http://traditionsportsonline.com/tso-ootp/reports/html/players/player_31299.html
I'm on my phone so I can link but give my cheap ass owner that scrub starting pitcher joe bowden. Hopefully his intangibles and 3 nasty pitches will hold serve.
Im guessing you mean Joseph Bolden? http://traditionsportsonline.com/tso-ootp/reports/html/players/player_32364.html
