That is a suprise. I wasn't even making an effort to win the award. Brown was my go to receiver, but I wasn't throwing to him like I was with Smith last year. Oh well thats 2 heismans in a row. I will take it and hopefully next year I will make it my second BCS trophy as well.

Lets get this game played so Masler and I can play our bowl game. My weekend is pretty open but I'd rather get this one knocked out during the week in case something comes up.

    #25 Iowa 7
    FSU 28

The Seminoles end the year by defeating two straight ranked non-conference opponents. Overall, 8 of the Noles 13 games would be against ranked opponents.

This bowl game was a chess match between coaches with defenses playing at a high level. FSU's only first half score would come on a 24 yard toss sweep play to Sr RB Lonnie Pryor. Pryor would end the day with 19 rushes for 67 yards and 2 TDs. Iowa would score with 30 seconds remaining in the half and the score would go into the half deadlocked.

The Seminoles received the second half kick and scored on their first possession on a short TD by Jr FB Corey Mobley. The Seminole defense would intercept Iowa on the ensuing possession and the offense would cash in on another TD by Pryor, to go up 21-7. Iowa would go on a long drive, but were thwarted in the red zone by Jr LB Kevin Gibbons' 87 yard pick 6. The Noles would hold on an Iowa 4th down play and run out the clock.
