4-3 linebackers with more sacks than 3-4 linebackers

well, as said many times, if you don't bring at least 5, the QB has all day and some to throw. i'm going to a 3-4 as soon as i have beastly LBers and a great NG.

Just making a general statement. OLBs dont get to the QB in the 3-4 at all unless its coverage or a scramble.

I blitz my OLB in the 3-4 a lot of the time and they don't get there. Think with the way the line interactions are programmed having an extra guy on the line (4-3) gives an offensive lineman an extra guy to block. In my experience with the 3-4 this year the Tackle or Guard that isn't engaged with a defensive lineman always kicks out an makes a block on the OLB.

    Not calling anyone out.

i know. and i think you're right, the guards pull very easily to take out an OLB, which is still y u'd have to bring at least 5 in a 3-4 to be effective.

Maybe, though I didn't get there at all when I played Missouri and I called the OLB blitz probably 8 times, think it may just be that I am bringing 6 when they only have 5-6 blockers so a good chunk of the someone might come unblocked.

Another thing that could be a factor, there is no "type/class" of pass rush linebacker (balanced, coverage, run stopper). Surprised there isn't more outrage on forums about it. Guess having the right socks and show lace color plus correct dread lengths are all more important. :D

Yeah there is balanced, coverage, and run stopper for OLB. No pass rush type for OLB. Unless you got a secret version on NCAA 13 where there is one and OSU wins BCS Championships even though they have a bowl ban.
