In this dynasty it's been called against me a few times. Even against FSU who was a user and gave him a huge 3rd down when I didn't even touch his QB. I think I've had one maybe two that helped me but even those were shaky calls at best.

I left all penalties at default. I don't mind lowering that a little bit if others chime in citing it as problematic.

Yeah let others chime in. If they don't mind then I won't complain. I just saw someone else mention something I've noticed about this cycle in general.

I'm not saying I'm not having fun because I'm Kansas. This game is just has those moments where nothing you do is gonna work. How the hell is La Tech gonna start the game 12-12? And this isn't a once a time thing. This happens repeatedly vs teams. And there isn't a lot of room for error. Most teams will get one pick and it's GG from there. And for me at least, I've had a few games where some of the picks are bullshit and unrealistic (ie a Memphis Offliner game where the Db reached through my receiver and picked it or those times where the Db isn't looking but turns around right away to pick it off). Once one of those happens, kiss winning good bye. The game has a lot of flaws and that's why a majority of the E disbanded. It sucks but this game is not as good as last years and last years game wasn't the bell of the ball.

I guess the frustrating thing is is that is was damn SMU. Had it been LSU, or Auburn then yeah, 73 points is not out of the question if those offenses are clicking. But SMU? That's when the stuff starts to rustle my jimmies.

It's a game, yes. But it can still be something that enrages me at times.

Ill get used to it. While losing even more hair in the process.

Baylor Wins Shootout with Pesky University of Louisiana - Monroe Squad

    35

    #3 [IMG] 49

Baylor came into this game with a #3 ranking and feeling good, but then UL Monroe took the field and showed that they didn't give two turds about that ranking. ULM held us to only 14 points in the first half after forcing an interception in the redzone and a couple nice defensive plays that managed to stall long Baylor drives. Bryce Petty did manage to find the endzone twice through the air though to give ULM a 14-7 lead headed into half.

After halftime both defenses disappeared. In the third quarter ULM brought in a new quarterback who continued to move the ball at will against the Baylor defense. He would help his team find the endzone twice in the third quarter, meanwhile for Baylor Lache Seastrunk got the wheels moving and found the endzone twice. In the 4th things really got hairy. The teams would exchange scores one after the other as 5/6 final drives of the game resulted in touchdowns.

    Key Stats:

    The ULM Quarterbacks were unstoppable.

    • QB#1 B.Brown 15 of 16 for 199 yards and 2 TDs
    • QB#2 K.Browning 13 of 15 183 yards and 1 TD
    • They completed passes to 11 different receivers.

Baylor WR Tevin Reese finally showed off his big play ability with 6 receptions 152 yards a 1 TD.

Lache put the team on his back with 252 yards and 4 Touchdowns on 26 carries.

    Alabama Stomps Colorado State

    Tide Rolls 55-10

Tuscaloosa, AL- Jim McElwain's return to Tuscaloosa didn't go as well as he hoped. In the midst of a downpour the Crimson Tide stomped his new Colorado State team 55-10 and shut down his offense.

AJ McCarron was on point all day finishing 24/28 for 357 yards and 5 TDs. Kenny Bell and Deandrew White were his main targets on the day. White finished with 6 catches for 89 yards and 2 scores and Bell caught 5 balls for 103 and 1 score. McCarron also found Amari Cooper and Brian Vogler for TDs on Saturday. TJ Yeldon struggled to get going but still finished with 20 carries for 106 yards and 1 score.

Defensively the Tide held the Rams to 267 yards of offense and kept them scoreless the entire second half. Alabama monopolized posession most of the day and ended with a huge edge of 24:33 to 9:45. That includes a massive 18 play 6 minute drive that started the 4th and drained the clock.

Kenny Bell made an incredible catch in the back of the endzone with :16 seconds left in the first half. McCarron saw him streaking past the safety and lobbed the ball a little too much, but Bell climbed over the top of the charging defender, and pulled the ball down. A double tap at the back of the endzone gave him the catch of the year so far for Alabama.

As you can see from the stats, this was a close game between two evenly matched teams. Both teams turned the ball over 3 times, and UGA held Texas under 100yd passing while Texas held UGA under 100yd rushing. A clutch big-run from Johnathan Gray really opened up the Texas run game, and a late TD scamper from Malcolm Brown sealed the deal.

This road win lifted Texas from unranked status into the top 25, and has set them up to make a run at some serious hardware if they play well in the Big12.

It's not just losing. The two games I won against ULL and Southern Miss were pretty much like what Mike E said. Then I lost to his A&M team with Manziel going like 19-20. I do sliders on OS but, this game is hard to fix. I'm fine with it. It's just far from realistic. User games are much more enjoyable to me. That's my 2 cents

It is very frustrating playing teams like UConn running the no huddle, I understand I should be seeing alot of hurry up in the Big XII but every team is running it damnit. I agree with charter user games are way better than cpu

That was maybe the least fun I have ever had playing NCAA in my life...it was like LSU knew what every play was...constant bump coverage we couldnt beat...no run game, cheap turnovers and yea....fun

So everyone wants easier sliders? What needs changing?

I guess not everyone agrees with me on this one.

My only gripe would be the CPU passing. Seems to be everybody is experiencing high completion percentages vs the cpu passing game. Whether thats fixed through lowering CPU accuracy or increasing HUM Coverage idk. Im not a slider guru.

I agree we need tougher sliders because I know by the end of the season I will have adjusted back to the game and long for the competitive CPU. I haven't played this game since October and its just soo much different then nextgen madden. I just hate that every damn cpu team runs the no huddle!

I have had two bye weeks and toughest cpu opponent has been kansas st. Passing the ball is the only thing I have struggled with so far but I am using case mccoy.

Wouldnt care if we eased up on sliders if majority wants. I want everyone to have fun. More user games to compensate? Just a thought.

Backup QB Tyrone Swoopes (18) scores go ahead TD with 0:46 left in game
Austin, TX -- Whew! The Texas Longhorns survive another scare from ISU. This one was back and forth the whole way. Just as Texas was about to make it 28-14 going into halftime, Case McCoy threw another pick.

After his 4th pick on only 20 attempts, Case was benched for the last part of the 4th quarter. Tyrone Swoopes came in and orchestrated a crucial game-winning drive that gave Texas a much needed 42-38 win. Fans and media arent sure if Swoopes is playing himself into more snaps, or if Case is playing himself out of the starting job. Expect Tyrone Swoopes to get a few drives in the 1st half against Oklahoma, though.

Coaches are making this a huge visit weekend with a majority of Texas prospects coming to get a feel for the Red River Shootout.

TOMMY REES BAILS NOTRE DAME OUT AT HOME
    AFTER GOLSON THROWS FOUR INTECEPTIONS

Went into halftime leading 10-3. Golson had thrown 2 picks in the first half, but the defense was dominating the Wolfpack. It got to the point where it was 13-10 in the fourth quarter after Golson threw his fourth pick of the day. Coach IrishBearcat decided to bench him in favor of Tommy Rees. He didn't make a lot of throws, but ultimately lead the offense down the field and help bleed out the rest of the game clock. The fighting Irish escape a close one at home, but unfortunately it looks the quarterback controversy will continue.

Baylor falls 45-31 to #20 Kansas St.

7 INTs by Bryce Petty plus an unstoppable K State ROBO QB did me in. (7-7 2 TDs through the air plus 118 yards and 1 TD on the ground IN THE FIRST HALF) ..

I will do a proper summary later after I cool off.

Ouch! I would have benched his ass after 4! Kansas State was tough as hell for me, too. Took them to OT. Wasnt pretty. Looks like some shake-ups at the top of rankings this week.

Texas Star Sophomore RB Johnathan Gray throws the Horns up after breaking a 65yd TD

Dallas, TX -- What a game! This one was being hyped up all week and it lived up to the hype and then some. Two highly ranked teams facing off in a classic rivalry in front of the entire country for bragging rights and the inside track on a Big12 Championship. Both schools apparently brought in a lot of recruits to take in the sights and sounds as well. Im sure none of them left disappointed. This Instant-Classic RRSO was close all the way through and definitely delivered the goods.

Texas won the toss and chose to kickoff first. Oklahoma looked very sharp on their first drive, but the Texas defense tightened up defending a short field and held OU to field goal. It was the Longhorns turn to answer, and things looked great at first. The running game was working, and Case even completed a pass or two before the inevitable occurred. Case McCoy got lazy throwing a screen pass and OLB Eric Striker snatched it out of mid-air while doing a 360 spin and took it 53yd to the house.

Coach Max was visibly upset with Case on the sideline prompting Case's father, Brad McCoy, to come down from his seats and try to protect his child. Coach Max immediately went to air to settle Case down. He led a great drive down the field and capped it off with an 11yd TD pass to Kendall Sanders. 10-7 Sooners.

Oklahoma would score another TD with only 1:20 left in the half. Needing a spark, backup QB Tyrone Swoopes came in and surprised everyone by completing a lob-ball prayer down the sideline to Jaxon Shipley. He got the offense into scoring position and Texas tacked on a FG to make the score 17-10 at halftime.

The Longhorns would receive to open up the 2nd, and proceed to move the ball down the field on a well-orchestrated drive. Power back Malcolm Brown popped into the endzone for a 1yd TD to end that drive tying up the game at 17.

Texas' defense played a bend-dont-break style of defense in the 2nd half and was able to contain the Sooners powerful offense and force timely turnovers, keeping them off the board in quarters 3 and 4.

What really swung the momentum to Texas' favor was the Monster 65yd TD run Gray ripped off in the 4th quarter. He headed right into the pile, sucked the D in (Jason Terry no homo)

and made a nice cut upfield to break it open. The game was far from over, though.

Oklahoma had the ball with under a minute and was driving. They had enough time to score and a timeout or two as well. Knight was looking good, but he under-estimated the closing speed of CB Duke Thomas. Knight went over the middle, but Thomas closed the gap on his man and snagged the game-sealing INT with one hand.

GG publik drunk Looking forward to this rivalry. If they are half as good as that one it will be a blast!

This is a huge win for Texas right now. It should give them the upper hand on a lot of their prospects and put them on top of the Big12. They'll crack the top 10, too and with the shake-up at the top of the polls... who knows how high they will climb? I wouldnt be surprised if this game puts Johnathan Gray in the Heisman discussion either. Texas has two must-win games vs. Pitt and TCU before facing off with a well-coached Kansas team.

Striker's pick6. drunk user'd that one all the way.

    Gray showing vision

Great game man was truly a classic. Thats Strikers second pick 6 this year off a HB screen! Dudes a freak even though the updated rosters don't give him credit. What a battle though, you did a great job containing Trevor and outmanned us up the middle just like back in October. This rivalry is going to be a blast

I for sure thought about it, but my backup only had 76 accuracy ... He actually didn't have a bad second half. I got within 7 points and then crazy interceptions started happening again.

    Texas A&M - 42
    Ole Miss - 28

Another defensive struggle for the Aggies, but this time they were able to intercept 3 Mississippi passes which all came at crucial times. Leading 7-0 early in the 1st, aTm pick-sixed a Bo Wallace pass to put the Aggs up 14-0. Mississippi would not go away, and the score was 21-14 at the half.

A&M was able to take over and score with 3 minutes left and on the ensuing Mississippi drive, A&M got another pick deep in Ole Miss territory and the offense was able to punch it in and put the game away.

Manziel and Malena both rushed for 125+, and Malena had 3 TDs while Manziel accounted for the other 3.

Bo Wallace, QB for Miss., ran for 145 yards. ROBO QB was not a factor though, so that was nice...

Next week, we welcome in #1 Auburn....

    Tide Takes Down Kentucky
    Alabama Wins Bear Bowl 59-21

Lexington, KY- Alabama rolled into town and after quickly salting the game away rolled right back out. TJ Yeldon had the best game of his young career carrying 21 times for 283 yards, but strangely only found the endzone once.

DeAndrew White led the passing game with 6 catches for 89 yards and 2 scores, and McCarron was solidly on target again going 15/19 for 176 yards and 3 scores. The rushing scores came from strange places; Yeldon scored once, Jalston Fowler scored once, backup TE Harrison Jones scored once, and MLB Trey DePriest slid into the FB role a few times in a goal to go situation, and he scored on his one carry.

Alabama's running attack was unstoppable on the day piling up 471 yards on 49 carries for a 9.6 ypc. The offense actually averaged 9 yards per play, as the passing attack picked up the same 9.6 per attempt. The defense held the Wildcats to 240 yards of offense, and the starting defense allowed just one score.
