2013 Hawkeye Report Iowa 44 Wisc 21 Iowa dominated the Badgers early and often. Wisconsin decided to sell out against the run all game and they paid for it. Iowa QB Vandenburg's numbers weren't exceptional, but when the Hawkeye's needed a 1st down all they had to do was go to the air and it was easy pickings. Starting HB Brandon Wehger couldn't get anything going against the Wisconsin front 7, only managing 37 yards on 18 carries. He left in the 3rd quarter with an injury. His backup, Adam Robinson, picked up the slack and rumbled for 114 yards on 12 carries and 2 TDs. Coach JC has decided to go with the hot hand and Robinson will reclaim his starting spot that he lost two season's ago.
