whygodwhy1111 is going to win the award going away unless his QB gets injured. The game loves QB running stats, and his guy is currently 3rd in the nation in rushing yards and coming on like gangbusters.

I wouldn't worry about it - you are playing for 2nd place in the Heisman.

Not if I start scoring 5 TDs per game like Sanky at UW did last file.... Score 30+ TDs with a HB and he rockets up the board :)

    All aboard the Queso Express!

You get XP for having a Heisman finalist.... and a lot of XP for winning the award

Yeah - but you guys weren't competing with a QB that will likely lead the league in rushing and have 20-30 rushing TD's of his own.

Hence why I think everyone needs to be mindful of stat padding - running numbers with your starters in CPU blowouts actually has a tangible benefit as it relates to coaching XP in this game (as you know).

Its probably not too late to dust off the ole cheddar wheel of read option and go nuts with my own QB.....

And this is why I HATE the XP tied to stats...recruiting visits tied to stats is stupid too. Another win for EA and sim players everywhere

Well, we could police stat padding in visit weeks. It would take effort, but it could be done.....just check to make sure guys aren't completely deviating from how they normally play when they have their visit week (ie, they mostly run the ball but in the visit week suddenly throw for 400 yards).

But I agree - EA did the same thing with Madden last cycle and it was AWESOME.

I know my guys are visiting but rarely have an interest in stat padding with a different game plan for them.

The hope would be that guys run the same offensive/defensive philosophy in a visit week as they do the rest of the year.

    After Midnight

Been so hectic I haven't even checked any Heisman stuff. Just reading this is how I know Walker is there. He doesn't even start. He's my 2nd string RB. In all my OD's I play, I preach team first. Take starters out when i'm up 28 in the 2nd half. Look at these stats for the first 8 weeks of the season.

    H. Walker 89 carries 705 yards

    R. Hampton 88 carries 560 yards

Hmmm Pretty close huh? All about the team here fellas.:D

OK I'm out, time to scout Louisville before I play them later.:rolleyes:

I think his kick return skills are helping him in the Heisman Race

It's all good bro. I am just waiting for my GF to go to work as she's hogging the dam TV right now with her sister. Then I can scout and play Louisville and check on some other stats.

Dam that Nathan Armstrong from GA Tech is killing sh$t. 762 yards rushing for that QB. Seems like a lock for the Heisman. Dam and he has 90 speed and ACC and 89 Agility? Wow it's going to be fun trying to prepare to face him in week 11.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Updated through week 8. Im gonna keep the weeks up there to see how much it changes from here on out.

GMONEY 15 Hershchel Jr is sitting in 2nd at the moment.
Wyrmreaver The back up seems to garnering attention as he moves up 2 spots to #3
And good ole TJ Yeldon makes an appearance this week at #4

whygodwhy1111 Mr Armstrong falls off the board but im sure thats only temporary.

i'd be supprised if armstrong makes the list at the end of the season. He does not get enough big plays. The Rbs get all the glory while he eats failed options.
