    2013 Playbooks........

I have question before I choose.....is using the Florida Playbook allowed..........or maybe frowned upon??

If Mark Williams decides to leave..which I am pretty sure he will I am thinking about going with this playbook.

Why would it be frowned upon?

the difference between you using the florida playbook and the cpu using the florida playbook is that the cpu puts WR harvin (99spd) at hb on about 1/2 the plays. i think you can use it without problem, just not have like WR hutchinson (98spd) playing HB

    i run Vandy's playbook... it's straight Gouda...

in all seriousness... i run the shotgun spread option. Most of the time i line up with 3 WR's on the field. I don't think playbooks are what makes someone's game cheesy.

It has some really crazy plays in it...probably it's perceived as cheese online because most people aren't prepared for it.....mostly everyone runs traditional sets, but to be honest save for a few playbooks, most of them are basically the same....Florida's is one that really stands out

or davis, or carlson, or selmon.......lol

    Code:
    [U][B]Plyr Spd Acc[/B][/U]
    Hutch 96 98
    Davis 95 99
    Smith 95 95
    Carlson 95 99
    Selmon 97 90
I figure I have the personal to run this....with the only question is QB

I can run it with my two sick backs.....I wouldn't need to sub in any WR at HB

just remember, we want some resemblence of a real college football league... not every team runs offense like Florida. I have the speed at WR to do this too, but i have never lined up a WR at QB... not one single time.

If we all start doing it, how much fun would that be? I take pride in being creative, but not in taking advantage of my personell.

My QB has 91 speed, he's as fast as most of my wideouts lol......no unrealistic subbing would be necessary on my end

    Barnes 91 spd
Roberston - very fast, you'll find out
    Green 95 speed

    woooooooooooo weeeeeeeee

agreed...i never thought about lining people up out of position. I just want my best players on the field as much as possible. My strength is WR and QB.....I am not sure how smart it would be to play I-form 2 WR sets 75% of the time. The conflict I have is I-form is my comfort zone.....small sets that you can run OR pass out of.

There is a lesson here....I recruited a team I am not comfortable with offensively....mainly I am missing a HB and have a sub par Oline.........mistake on my part. I have a spread offense team now.......and I dont really like it.

You won't have Jackson. Therefore next year's team scares me less than this year's does. However, you'll still beat me because you're at home this time. No home cookin for the Boilers this year.

You didn't beat me because of home field....you played better, simple as that

And Robinson was hot as the sun

I don't buy that homefield stuff

I dont think its cheese. I ran with that playbook when I had Forcier. Lots of options and pass plays. In the "Gator Formation" you can plug your WR at QB for some runs. Fun playbook with some great plays not found in any other book.

I was considering looking at Georgia Tech's playbook, I think I'll have the HBs to run it, but I really am excited about my WRs next season too and I don't know that would be a playbook to set them up for success.
