care to elaborate on your custom pbs? just formations only.

Also, the multiple D has been barred. Please check out our custom pb rules as it pertains to defense

It has I-Form, Ace, Shotgun, Strong, Pistol

Multiple D is not barred it says as it says you need to have a 3 or 4 lineman scheme and I do, but I mix between a 3-4 and 4-3. Mostly custom based upon the various nickel packages Strong, Nickel, 3-3-5, Dime and 3-2-6. I like to mix between the 3-4 lineman scheme keep fresh bodies on the field.

    Gameplay Rules – General
Playbooks – Everyone will set their offensive and defensive playbooks by their 2nd user vs. user matchup. Once chosen, they can’t be changed until the following season. The 'multiple' defensive playbook is not allowed.

The multiple D is indeed barred. Furthermore, I was asking for specific formations as to ensure that you are following some sort of scheme within your offensive playbook. IE - not a bunch of 2 TE formations along with Shotgun spread / 5 wide

Well I'm gonna have to look and see then because that is the playbook I always use so I dunno then I will have to look because mine is custom just it has some 4-3 and 3-4 in it with 4-2-5 and Nickel and Dime, 4-4 and 46 Bear. So basically I am a 4 man down line but also do 3-4 to mix in personnel.

What I would recommend for you, if looking to do a custom PB, is going 4-3 (because you get the 46 and the 4-4 with that) and adding in the 4-2-5.

The rule is simply stating that, if you run a 4 down linemen scheme - you can add (up to 2) formations that also have 4 down linemen (i.e. the 4-2-5). Same goes for if you run a 3 down linemen scheme - you can add (up to 2) formations that also have 3 down linemen (i.e. the 3-3-5).

Also, please list the formations (when you get a chance tonight) from your offensive custom pb. Thanks :)

Already listed the Formations for my offensive PB, please check above (y) Well can I keep using my custom pb, and just not use the 3-4 aspects of it? Cause it's a pain having to use different playbooks for different leagues?

you listed i-form, ace etc. Im asking for the specific formations. For example:

    I-Form:
    Normal
    Slot
    Tight

    Ace:
    Big
    Big Twins
    etc.

I'd honestly rather you didnt, because there are a lot of formations that you added to the multiple playbook that arent in a default 4 down linemen set. For instance, the 4-3 playbook only has one 3-3-5 set. It would be unfair to everyone else.

And please, dont think im coming down on you - im really not. We've all gone through this before. We've all listed our custom pb formations when we first made them. Furthermore, like I said, I used to run the Multiple and went through the growing pains of having to switch things up. It's tough, but we deal with it and move on.

Also, committing to one set on defense really helps you find an identity in recruiting. If you are running a 3 lineman set, you are looking for different things than you are if you are running 4 lineman sets. For instance, OLBs in a 3-4 are expected to be more of pass rushers, where as in a 4-3 they can be more coverage LBs because the pass rush is expected to be generated by the front 4

It is the 3-3-5 in the Nickel set but fine I'll work on it and see what I can do.

I have a Freshman QB that can run. He might come in for one or two drives a game.
