Can we go tomorrow? I currently have another user game scheduled for tonight around 8 PST. We can probably go, but it may depend on if my wife has a lot of work to do.

If you are home today or have time, use my GT and invite someone in the open spot as NT and have them use the default NT playbook. Its the only thing I can think that is screwing up the game. EAsportskiller might of had a custom playbook thats messing things up. I really don't know.

San Jose has to beat New Mexico State twice as my game locked up after the first win (getting tired of this happening). I super simmed til late in the 4th quarter, 31-31. NMSU kicks a field goal to take a 3 point lead. Then the Spartans main offense, the special teams and defense show up, as they take the kick off for a TD, then force a fumble and return it for a TD. For good measure, in the closing seconds, SJSU pick 6 the Aggies. Final score of the 2nd game...

New Mexico State suffers a loss to San Jose State 52-34

    1st 2nd 3rd 4th OT
    NMSU 7 17 0 10 0 34
    SJSU 10 0 14 28 0 52

San Diego State continues to win as they dominate New Mexico 56 - 28 under the lights at Qualcomm Stadium. The win, though, was bittersweet as starting HB Adam Muema went down with a 4 week injury early in the first quarter on just his second touch of the night. The injury happened when Muema took a swing pass from QB Bernards on the team's opening drive and cut up field for a 13 yard game only to be hit out of bounce. With Senior HB Ronnie Hillman listed as questionable coach Osiris Monster could face some serious challenges in the weeks to come.

Still, an under powered New Mexico team stood little chance against a high octane Aztec offense that put up 28 points in the first quarter alone and took a 42-14 halftime lead. Senior QB Bernards was magnificent on the night completing 17 of 23 passes for 247 yards and a pair of TDs in his first INT free game of the season. The real star of the night, though, was third string Sophomore HB De Saan Hardwick who rushed for 272 yards on 28 carries and scored 4 TDs.

Defensively San Diego State still struggled to contain the long pass giving up a 73 yard TD reception on New Mexico's second possession and allowing their first 100+ yard rusher and rushing TD. To be fair, though, the team was playing with the second string from midway through the 2nd quarter on. Still, defense is an area that coach Osiris Monster knows needs work and he is open to suggestions on what to do. When asked about his plans to sure up the defense he had this to say. "Perhaps my safeties need hearing aides? They just don't seem to recognize that the ball gets snapped sometimes and aren't getting back into their deep zones until the WRs blow past them. Cover 4 situations are the worse but it happens in our Cover 2 and Cover 6 schemes as well. It's vital that we protect against the deep ball and that means getting our safeties to recognize when the ball is snapped and react accordingly."

Next week the Aztecs start a three game road trip when they visit a tough Colorado State team in need of a win. "That Colorado State game has me worried. They are a team much better then their 2-5 record indicates with two monster HBs and a QB that can cause so real damage on the ground and through the air. Our defense needs to play strong. We can't let the WRs get behind us and we can't let your QB run all over us. This game could turn into a shootout fast." Still a shootout may just favor the high scoring Aztec offense that's averaging well over 45 points per game since coach Osiris Monster took over.

When asked about his running back situation the coach had this to say. "We really need Ronnie to return to the team next week. So much of our offense is predicated on the twin HB running attack and right now we are down to our third string back. De Saan is a great back and I expect him to step up and perform. The problems start when we look beyond Hardwick. Jeff McCutcheon is a good kid with some nice high end speed. His problem is acceleration. He just doesn't have any and that means he is going to have problems escaping the backside pursuit. Without two solid options at HB we are really limited in what running sets we have available to us. The emphasis will be more on QB Bernards to play a solid turnover free game and keep the pressure on Colorado State. I think we have a good shot at winning, I just wished my weapons were health. But hey, there is always hope that Ronnie will actually recover from his three week injury sometime this season right?"

I had put up like 59 into the third and supers simmed and they scored to 67 and were inside the 20 so i came back and ran the ball, I could have kneeled it on 4th but there was still like 4 min left in the game. I had my subs in from the end of the third because I was only up by 28 when I scored last. I got the ball back after a three and out from super sim and ran the clock out. I wasnt at all trying to put up that many points.

Take points where you can get 'em. No lead is safe with these bad teams ;)

Also, you wouldnt dare give UCLA a loss, would you?
