I felt much better before we advanced.

    Memphis - 21
    Louisville - 28

Memphis had a tough game. They lost their starting QB on the first series but scored to go up 7-0. Louisville tied it up at 7-7 before backup running QB Gilchrist ran the triple option beautifully, and Memphis scored 14 straight. Up 21-7 in the 3rd quarter the game swung quickly. After the backup QB got hurt (leaving Memphis without a triple option), Louisville scored on a short pass that broke deep and then scored again on the first play after Memphis punted. Memphis couldn't turn it around after that. They were able to punt the ball deep and then force a punt to get it back at midfield with a little less than a minute left. That's when they threw an awful pick that was returned for a touchdown with 26 seconds left. This was a tough loss. 21 straight points to end the game. Suck.

The first half was horrible. The Buffs took a 27-7 lead into intermission the only bright spot for the Cougs in the first half was SS Anthony Carpenter intercepting a pass and taking it 80 yards for the score. In the second half, it was all Cougs. WSU opened the second half with the ball and scored on a 71 yard TD pass from Halliday to Marquess Wilson. Then on the Cougs next possession Marquess Wilson scored another TD, an 18 yard reception from Halliday. Colorado would get a field goal to close out the the third quarter with a field goal giving the Buffs a 30-21 lead going into the fourth quarter. WSU opened the fourth quarter with over a 4 minute driving capping off with a HB Ricky Galvin 1 yard TD run. After WSU forced Colorado to punt, WSU struck quickly with a big 49 yard pass play from Halliday to Wilson putting the Cougs in field goal range. From there WSU punched in a touchdown from slow as molasses RB Chester Su a.

Had a brutal first week as the head honcho Aztec. In our bye week we completed 10 hours of recruiting without a single insta commit! Next week we plan to lay an Aztec whooping on a Bowling Green punching bag.

I can't decide which I like better in this league, bye weeks or actually losing games. Bye weeks are pretty nice, wish I had a few more (y)

I would offer to play your game for you but I would most likely lose it.
