Wow the 2 user games are huge this week, both with teams still in the hunt for titles, and a couple of intriguing cpu games as well. Might be something of a "Seperation Saturday"

Well, I had it tied at 21 going into the fourth. Wisconsin just proved to be too much down the stretch.

    Write up later tonight

It had all the makings for an upset through 3 quarters. QB Bud was hit on a throw and fumbled the ball, as Scott for the Illini ran it in for the games first score. Bud was able to bounce back from the setback, as he hit Ducky for a 11 yard score. Then he threw a bomb of 50 yards (all in the air) to Rodgers, which was followed by a Williams run into the endzone. Coach Cheez held his ground, as he forced the Badgers to turn the ball over on downs and respond with a 23 yard James score. The game was tied 14-all at half. On the opening kickoff, FS Jackson, who missed a tackle on the James score, was able to pick up a fumble from the KR of Illinois and take it in for 6. Forcier would not leave the Badgers alone, as he ran it in himself on a third down play, tying it at 21 going into the 4th. Maybe Coach Cheez's theory ofan upset were coming true? The upset was not meant to be. Bud released a pass a millisecond before getting plastered, and threw it with enough touch to hit Ducky, who dragged a defender into the endzone. Williams would then seal the deal, as he ripped off a 53 yarder untouched. Inman put one on the board, just for good measure. Illinois scored once more, but with only 11 seconds left, and the game was done.
Next up is a sliding Penn St team, whos lost 4 straight.

    #2 Wisconsin 42 - Illinois 28

    Cal 24
    #12 OSU 27

OSU came out very flat as they struggled for most of the game. The Beavers' offense struggled as they were unable to score in the first half, twice WR Michael Houston dropped deep passes. The running game was non existent, and QB Sean Mannion threw 2 interceptions. In the second half the offense responded scoring 27 points in the second half. Malcolm Marable was able to rush for 89, with 32 yards coming on a big run in the fourth quarter with the game tied at 17. OSU took the lead with less than three minutes to go when Mannion hit Kevin Cummings for a 7 yard TD pass making the score 24-17. However, the Beavers would not hold the lead as Cal scored on a 92 yard TD reception with 45 seconds remaining. However, that was enough time for the Oregon State offense, as Mannion hit Cummings for a 50 yard pass. Then Mannion completed a pass to WR Garrett Hall, then Marable rushed for a few extra yards, and then the kicker Ernest Williams kicked a 30 yarder as time expired. Up next Arizona.

    #24 Texas A&M 24 @ Texas Tech 0

The Aggies overcame a slow start and the rain Saturday afternoon, blanking the Red Raiders. Mister Jones ran for 108 yards and a touchdown, and the play of the game happened on the first play of the second half, when qb Jameille Showers hit wr Michael Golden for a 72 yard touchdown.

Not much more to talk about. Now the Aggies set up for a battle in Norman next week.

    Stanford - 24
    UCLA - 27

The Bruins jumped all over the Cardinal only to see Stanford make a game of it in the 4th quarter. Luckily, Stanford's onside kick with under a minute to play was recovered and the Bruins ran out the clock. Senior QB Ted Landers, who was just named starter for the rest of the season before the Oregon State game, was injured early on in this one and will miss the next 3 weeks.

The Bruins defense and rushing attack still are firing on all cylinders so hopefully the lose at the QB position won't hurt as much. UCLA heads out to Seattle to take on the Washington Huskies next week.

It wasnt until the 4th quarter. Got a little sloppy and before I knew it Stanford was lining up for the onside kick down 3 with under a minute left. Controllers might have broken had I let that one slip away [IMG]

Oh yeah, just so everyone knows, the Oregon/Arizona game will be happening tomorrow around 1pm CST. dakota will have the commish duties and advance us into week 11 once the game is complete. So a slight delay but we've been moving at a good clip and this is a pivotal game in the Pac 10!

    NOT SO FAST

Boda's still gotta go through Illinois, and the Illini will be looking for redemption after losing a tough one at home to Wisconsin.

Jax I hope the Big 12 Scheduling Committee isn't done with us for the remainder of '11. Had a classic in the first year, but haven't seen you in 3. Very disappointing.
