Knicks take 1-0 lead on Pacers. Carmelo drops 30 with 10 boards. This team is deep. Game 2 tonite. Stay tuned.
Got very frustrated with so many open shots missed. Particularly form Paul George. Geroge Hill dropped the team high in only 14 minutes of play. Tried to get him more minutes but he started to miss. Couldn't get the ball to Granger enough. Let's see if we can change this tonight and steal one away from home.
Game 1: Indiana 89 - 107 New York Game 2: Indiana 130 - 124 New York Game 3: New York 114 - 11 Indiana In game one Carmelo and company dominated the Pacers. Indiana struggled to get anything going and gave up and easy game one to New York. Game two was a different story. A very fast pace game where scoring was abundant and 3's were a plenty. Anthony finished with 46 oints and 4 assists, but that still wasn't enough to win the game for the Knicks. The Pacers played a balanced game with 6 players scoring in double figures. Granger led the was with 27 points. 41 bench points fueled the Pacers to this 6 point win to tie the game at series and steal a game away from home. Game three started and the Pacers had every intention of taking the lead 2-1. The Pacers led about 80 percent of the game and even had a 10 point lead for most of the third quarter. However, the final 4 minutes went the Knicks way. Little by little they chopped at the Pacers lead until they tied the game with just over a minute. With under a minute left, the Pacers led by two. After the Knicks had shot 34 three's that game and only converted on 9, the Pacers expected one more. Instead the ball was given to Melo down low, who was fouled and converted and And 1. This left the Pacers with 14 seconds down by one. Indiana kicked the ball to the wing to Granger, who went called for a pick and roll with David West, who was leading the Pacers with 23 points on the day. The pick and roll was ran to perfection as West ended up with the ball under the basket and what looked like an easy layup. However, on the layup West was blocked and the Knicks got the ball and were fouled and then secured the game with two free throws. A heartbreaking loss for the Pacers who could have taken a big 2-1 lead with two more home games left. Instead they will have to battle away once more if they hope to advance. The Knicks coach after the game Aspect1 commented he had no idea how his team pulled that one off. Look for Game 4 and possibly more on Sunday when the Knicks battle the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.
JFace907 Go ahead and give CTfromDC the win against the Twolves. Our schedule is like oil and water. Plus with Xmas and the little ones, my time is pretty limited. Sorry man.
Connor, Ya I was on last night looking for you. I have a few madden and college games scheduled starting at 9 but I can play after.
Pacers get smashed in game 6. Melo with 33, although Paul George had the most points with 35. Game 5 got simmed and may be the only reason I'm alive in right now. Game 6 tonight. Pacers need to win to avoid elimination.
PAgamer07 we have a series to play man! When are you free? I am free today or tomorrow after 2PM CST. LMK
