Hokies shut down Miami in the second half to win 38-30

After falling down 21-7 in the first quarter, the Hokies scored 28 unanswered and never looked back, leading the rest of the game against hated rival Miami. The Hokies finished with 420 total yards including 332 yards passing. QB Erik Clemons continued on his hot streak tossing 3 touchdowns and completing almost 60% of his passes. "That game against Marshall really got me to sit back and think about what I needed to adjust," said Clemons "When Ricardo went down with the injury it gave me a second chance to prove myself to the coaching staff, and I feel like I have used that chance well."
