Seminoles Get to 4 Wins on Season

Another game against an inferior team that allowed FSU to pound the rock some 54 times. Turnovers have not been a weekly issue, but when they come, they come in bunches. The goal was to limit turnovers and wear-down the opponents' defense by controlling time of possession. Both of which we were able to accomplish: only one turnover on the day, and 21 minutes of time of possession to their 10. Also another good day on third-down conversions going 10/14, which I would credit to good rushing success on first and second down.
Co-Offensive Players of the Game: Christian Green 7 catches for 143 yards Devonta Freeman 33 carries 133 yards.
Defensive Player of the Game: Lamarcus Joyner 3 tackles 2 INT's
Next week the 'Noles will welcome Syracuse to Doak Campbell Stadium.

The Jackets trailed for most of the game as the yellow jackets defense was awful this game. Back and forth early but the Eagles pulled away from a 14 10 defecit 2nd qtr. to build a double digit lead into the fourth. The Jackets scored mid fourth to get within 31-28. After forcing a punt the jackets used up all but 7 seconds of the last 4 minutes driving for the winning td on a 3rd down strike to the back of the endzone. final 35-31. Coach Tarheel increased his winning streak to 4 games improving to 6-4.

QB Lee was player of game throwing for 402 yards and 3 tds and 2 picks
HB Godhigh had a rough game only getting 70 yards

    Louisville Wins Again
Louisville finds a way to hold on in a close game against division foe Clemson. Coach HuskerPower coached a hell of a game today and it definitely could've gone either way. With the score 31-28 Cards at the end of the half, Coach Legend Rips took his guys into the locker room and told them that they needed to step it up or that their season would be over! The guys took it to heart and came out of the locker room strong, scoring quickly and they held the lead for the rest of the game. The Louisville Cardinals now control their own destiny! They hold the lead in the ACC Atlantic Division and, if they win out, they'll be heading to the ACC Championship game! Great game Husker. I really enjoyed it!

    HOME CROWD FUELS HURRICANES
Canes came into this game underdogs due to Virginia Techs number one ranked defense. VT won the coin toss and deferred to the second half, Stephen Morris put together a strong opening drive that he capped off with a 28 Yd TD pass to Phillip Dorsett. On the following possession Miami would intercept the first pass of the game for VT and return it for six. After a sack on the next possession VT would punt the ball going 3 and out. Miami would put together a solid drive only to have to settle for 3 from 36 yards out. On the first play of the following drive VT would score the longest touchdown of the day with a 75 yd TD to DJ Coles. Miami would tack on one more touchdown in the quarter to bring the score to 24-7. VT would start the second quarter with a touchdown 26 seconds in to the second quarter. After the score, Miami would score the next 17 points with 2 TD passes and a 33 yard field goal. The second half was a completely different game, after 58 combined points in the first half the second only supplied 17 points. The Hurricanes would hold on in the game with the final score 51-24.
POTG: QB Stephen Morris 17-21 291 Yds 5 TD 0 int

    Georgia Tech 27 #10 Clemson 24

Hugh upset today at Clemson as Georgia tech never led until the last 15 seconds of the game. The Tigers started off on fire picking off Lee twice in the first building a 14-0 lead. Lee finally settled down in the second leading a long drive inside the ten before having to settle on a short field goal. Mid second the game changed for the jackets, sacking Boyd and forcing a fumble. The Jackets recovered the fumble at the ten. Georgia tech would score a couple plays later. 14-10 at half. Clemson HB would break off a 50 yard td run on third and short after trucking a jacket linebackers behind the line of scrimage. Georgia tech would add 3 points late third making it 21-13. Adfter forcing a punt and recovering from QB Lee's fourth pick of the day the jackets would drive down and score with just over 4 minutes left. The 2 point try was off when lee was hit trying to throw the ball. 21-19 clemson mid fourth. Clemson would take the ball from there 20 and run it down the jackets throat. They would get inside my 10 in the final minute and on third down with the jackets out of timeouts and running out of time, clemson chose to throw. After rolling out Boyd threw incomplete in the endzone leading to a field goal with 35 seconds left. 24-19 tigers. The jackets would start at there 25 and after three passes got the jackets near midfield Qb Lee found autry heading to the corner of the endzone. Autry caught the ball just as he was getting hit by the safety. td Jackets and after stopping the tigers just over midfield had secured there fifth straight win upsetting the tigers 27-24.
