Great job everyone in getting your games in well under the deadline in week 1! The franchise has been advanced and week 2 is now open! The deadline for week 2 will be Thursday, 9/12/13 @ midnight EST. With the opening of week 2, that also brings the opening of free agency. There is no waiver order or limit on the number of players any team may sign. Please keep in mind the League Rules regarding Position Requirements and Free Agency. If you are listed on the Black List, and haven't done so already, please address the issue(s) immediately. Please keep in mind all division games require a recap. I will update with the list for this week and last week at a later time. Good luck everybody in week 2! ~Jim Aaron (Hulk_hagen_55 ) Alex (Ninersfan80) Alonso (ferocious) Avery (AveryB) Carl T. I wanted to mention something about written game summaries, while we are on the topic. We certainly don't have a set style or format that we are supposed to use. However, I would like to make sure everyone knows what is expected. Please, please, PLEASE don't just regurgitate stats. Any of us can go on the franchise or the EA website and see stats. Include some substance in your recap. Tell a bit of a story. It doesn't have to be a 6 page SI spread, but give the reader an idea of how the game went, what went right/wrong, above just recalling stats. There is nothing wrong with including stats in the recap, but they should not be the bulk of it. Be respectful to your opponent. Jokes or talking a little trash are all well and good, but let's not take it too far to where it is insulting or disrespectful. A big part of being respectful to your opponent, is actually mentioning them in your recap! Talk about what they did right, what went wrong for them. If you write a whole recap mentioning nothing but your own team and own players, that can be pretty disrespectful. There were 2 teams on the field!
My team kicked your team's ass up and down the field. Twice. And then once more just for good measure. Get some practice. Jets - 119, Your Lousy Team - 3
Jim, just to clarify on this. If we do it in video form like I did. Do we still have to inlude a summary? Im pretty sure people can gauge how the game went by the video, and at the end I made it a point to record the stats section also. But just wanted to know. Thanx in advance. We all know how long this video process takes lol

Browns/Ravens is the last game of the week. They are scheduled to kickoff tonight at 730pm EST. Jim will advance thereafter at around 830/9pm EST depending on when the game goes final. Plan with your week 3 opponents accordingly.
