Pa must of put a hex on the Washington Huskies when leaving them off the list of games this week. Not really too much to talk about in this one. The Huskies were able to keep it close in the first half, but could not come out ahead. They had four plays within the five yard line of the Trojans and the Trojans defense would break through the line and force negative yardage on the Huskies.

Price avoiding a sack and scrambling 13 yards for a touchdown near the end of the third to make the game 17 to 27. This would be all the fun to be had as the final quarter was a straight up ass whooping. A final coup de grace for the toying that the USC Trojans had done the previous three quarters. Some how this would be Kesslers worst quarter when it came to pass accuracy. He missed three to bring his total to four on the day (the first coming in the third). Telfer had his fun in this quarter shrugging off tacklers like they were a weak gust of wind. He also made moves that made viewers reminiscent of their child days play with Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. DJ Morgan would kick the man while he was down with a 15 yard TD run with a minute left. USC would win this practice for them 48-23.

    ASU Humiliates #12 Stanford 56-21.

The Cardinal were bad, very bad, especially in the 1st half. ASU went up 28-0 in the 1st as the seemingly sieve-like ASU defense suddenly became dominant and psychic. DBs swatting passes, Stanford WRs dropping balls left and right, Hogan throwing for 50% and 1 INT in the first half. Very bad things for a top 15 team. Meanwhile for ASU, QB Eubank and RB Grice paved the way for an early celebration for ASU. Stanford got their act together in the 2nd half scoreing 21 points, but the ASU offense was just too potent to be stopped. Next up is USC which laid a whipping on coach JohnnyClutch in week 4. Coach Mav made a promise to coach JC that he would send USC back home in week 5 with a big L. Hopefully he can follow through on that promise.

Hawkeyes hold on to win 44-34 over Illinois
Iowa had a nice comfortable lead midway through the 2nd quarter up 34-14 but Illinois was able to catch a hail mary for a touchdown as time expired in the first half to make it 34-21 and gave Illinois a ton of momentum going into the 2nd half which they would get the ball first in. Illinois was able to get a couple of field goals in the 3rd quarter while holding Iowa to zero points in the quarter to make it 34-27 heading to the 4th. The Hawkeye offense finally got it going again in the 4th and Jake Rudock was able to find Kevonte Martin Manley for a 7 yard touchdown to push the lead to 41-27 with 5:29 left in the game. Nathan Scheelhasse and company weren't phased by the Hawkeye touchdown is it took them 1:08 to respond with a touchdown of there own which was a Scheelhaase 23 yard touchdown run. Iowa's next drive took time off the clock but not enough as they were forced to punt and give Illinois the ball back with less than 2 minutes to go. The Iowa defense rose to the occasion and sacked scheelhasse 2 times including on a crucial 4th down. After that Iowa ran the clock and Illinois burned up there timeouts and forced Iowa to kick a field goal with 23 seconds left and iced the game.

    27 - 14
    ---Morgantown WV

The Utes travelled from the the Great Salt Lake In Utah to Cheat Lake in Morgantown, WV for a prime time showing in front of a sell out crowd.

To kick off the Utes travelled the length of the field to the WVU 41 at 4 and inches. Coach Nachos had a critical decision to make at that point. He chose to punt. Coach BAWVU travelled the length of the field and punched it in with a pass from Childress to Cody on a quick 12 yard route inside the end zone.
Following the TD, WVU held the Utes forcing them to punt. Childress lead the 'Eers down the length of the field, had a WR wide open across the middle of the field on a post but thanks to user error it fell incomplete forcing a FG opportunity giving WVU a 10 - 0 lead.4 Minutes later Childress hit white on a crossing route giving WVU a 17-0 lead. Utah then answered with a 33 yard TD toss prior to the half with WVU up 17-7.
In the 2nd half WVU was held to 2 FG's and the Utes scored one more TD. With a few minutes left to go, Travis Wilson made his first and only mistake of the game with an interception which allowed WVU to run out the clock.

There is a scoring cap of 70 points in a blowout. If you exceed this your team will be hit with sanctions.
If ahead by 28 points or more in the 2nd half, you must bench your starting offense
If ahead by 40 or more in the 1st half, you must bench your starting offense
