Utah survives UTSA 23-17. CPU logic and time running out kept UTSA from scoring while on my 15.

It was ugly for the Hoosiers from the beginning. On the opening kickoff, the returner dropped the ball at the 1 and instead of running with it, he fell on top of the ball and was ruled down by the officiating crew. This lead to a safety on the first play from scrimmage by the WVU defense.

WVU received the subsequent kick and methodically drove the length of the field leading a Rushing TD taking a 9-0 lead. Indiana subsequently went no huddle and scored moments later closing the gap to 9-7.

The teams exchanged turnovers allowing Childress to lead the 'Eers down the field hitting Myers on a quick strike TD. Indiana Followed suit and hit a FG with a few minutes before the halfway point. The teams went into the locker room 16-10.

90 Seconds into the second half Childress hit myers again for his 2nd TD of the day which lead to a 23-10 lead. This was the only score WVU would need as Indiana followed with a FG and a TD with a missed 2 pt conversion with Buie and Sims both getting an rushing TD.

    Childress - 17/27 - 226 YDS - 2 TD/2INT

    Buie - 18 ATT, 58 YDS, 1 TD
    Sims - 15 ATT, 52 YDS, 2 TD

    4 Rec - 20 Yds - 2 TD

    K. Rose 3 TKL 1 Sack 1TFL
    W. Clarke 3 TKL 2 Sack 1TFL

ASU avenges the Washinton loss to USC 42-32 in honor of coach JohnnyClutch.

ASU elected to kick off this time in order to get the ball at the start of the 2nd half as they expected a very tight game against USC. USC came out firing in the run game but stalled in ASU territory and hit a 52 yd FG to take the early lead. ASU though answered with a Mike Eubank TD run until USC took the lead back on a 74 yard chuck and pray to Marqise Lee. ASU at this point would take over and score 14 straight on a TD run from Deantre Lewis and a 22 yd TD pass to Alonzo Agweune. Lee once again caught another pass from the near-perfect Cody Kessler until ASU's Marion Grice added a 3 yd TD run to end the half.

ASU put up the only points of the 3rd quarter as the ASU defense hunkered down. Slot WR Jaelen Strong would run a WR option 46 yards for a TD, darting past blocks for the score. USC wasn't done though as they scored 14 points in the 4th on 2 more Cody Kessler passes but it was not enough as ASU's Mike Eubank made it a 10 point lead on an 8 yard pass to WR Kevin Ozier.

Mich. St. 31- Penn St. 27

Tough game. nip and tuck and I really thought they had me. I won the game on an interception in the endzone on the last play of the game.

If you want to see a fucked up highlight, check a ghost defender tackle my running back on a short yard situation late in the game. Highlight should be on dynasty wire.

Maxwell threw for another 300 yds and 3 tds. He's a beast.

WE are 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference play, with a huge at @Iowa tomorrow morning.

Also, I'm going to come up with a piece on content over the weekend to present early next weekl :)

Beavers Pull Away In 2nd Half

Fresh off a huge comeback upset of #18 UCLA, Oregon State finally got to play at home. The Beavers hosted Colorado who came out slinging it around on their opening drive. Buffalo QB Shane Dillon marched the Beavers down the field with no hesitation before he tossed his first interception of the game in the redzone to Beaver CB Rashaad Reynolds. The two squads fought back & forth throughout the opening quarter before the Beavers got on the scoreboard first with a 34 yard field goal from Garrett Owens to lead 3-0. The Beaver defense stood strong and got the ball back quickly. Beaver QB Sean Mannion & RB Storm Woods moved Oregon State back down the field and as Woods got winded, back up Terron Ward found paydirt from 3 yards out to lead 10-0 midway through the 2nd quarter.

The Beavers defense was pretty dominant throughout the first half. CB Rashaad Reynolds picked off Shane Dillon in what looked like the exact same scenario with Colorado in the redzone but again came away with no points. As the time ticked under 2:00, Oregon State pissed away a 10 point lead & the dominant play of the first 14 minutes of the game. Colorado moved down the field with just over a minute left in the half and facing a 4th & goal from the 5, they appeared to kick a field goal until the Buffalo back up QB Connor Wood ran the fake in from 5 yards out to trim the lead to 10-7. Sean Mannion & Oregon State would go a quick 3 and out and Colorado used there timeouts to perfection. In a short matter of time Shane Dillon ripped apart the secondary once more and threw a 5 yard touchdown to WR Devin Ross who was standing wide open in the back of the endzone to take the lead 14-10. WR/KR Brandin Cooks returned the kickoff just past midfield to setup Oregon State with great field position and only 25 seconds remaining in the 2nd quarter. QB Sean Mannion hooked up with WR Brandin Cooks & Richard Mullaney and then found Mullaney again from 11 yards out to score before the half and take a 17-14 lead to the break.

The 2nd half was again much of what the Beaver fans saw for 75% of the first half. The Oregon State offense didn't stumble quite as much and the defense didn't surrender anymore bs. Late in the 3rd, the Beavers tacked on another field goal and Brandin Cooks hauled in a 63 yard touchdown and the Buffalo offense continued to do nothing but punt and toss a 3rd interception to Rashaad Reynolds. Midway through the 4th, Storm Woods found the endzone from 1 yard out and the scoring would be over for the game. Oregon State opens home play with a victory over Colorado 34-14.
QB Sean Mannion: 25/34, 351 Yards, 2 TD, INT
RB Storm Woods: 23 Att, 104 Yards, TD
WR Brandin Cooks: 10 Rec, 168 Yards, TD
DE Scott Crichton: 5 Tackles, 4 Sacks

QB Shane Dillon: 22/38, 264 Yards, TD, 3 INT
RB Christian Powell: 18 Att, 86 Yards
WR Tyler McCullough: 6 Rec, 57 Yards
FS Marques Mosley: 9 Tackles, INT
