Well my backup QB almost lost this one tssing 4 INT's including 2 pick 6's, but my defense played tuff only giving up 201yds and causing 4 INT's with 1 pick 6. Despite the 4 INT's Jenkins threw for 353yds and 2 TD. Dukes and Reid split carries for 139yds 1 TD.

Besides an early 75 yard run by Wood the Irish offense was unable to get any type of offense in this game. As they amassed only 146 yards of total offense (39 passing, 107 rushing). The Hokie offense almost tripled the Irish T.O.P as they held the ball for 17 minutes to the ND 6 minutes, behind heisman candidate David Wilson who again had a very solid game before getting put out late in the game rushing 36 times for 164 yards and 2 Tds. Qb gregory had another grat game going 14-19 181 yards 2Tds and 0 picks. Freshman Phenom Derwin Davis again had a solid day too having 8 catches for 83 yards and 1 TD.

Time management has been key for the Hokies this year as they have held the ball for well over 90 minutes to the opponents 53 minutes this season so far. Thanks to dominating performances from the Wilson their has been no need to run hurry up offenses as the Hokies have not been behind more than 4 times this year. This allows the Dominating D to get their rest plenty and opposing Defenses have been wore out point blank.

Next week the Hokies have a bye then return to action in a big game against surprise undefeated Maryland in a hugel ACC matchup if the Terps can remain undefeated until the game rolls around..

It's going to be a long season unless the Sooners figure out someway to play offense.

Last week the defense bailed out the offense as Michigan won against Iowa. This week it was the offense's chance to return the favor. unfortunately if you bleed Maize and Blue the offense did not uphold its end of the bargain as Chris Parker's shot into the end zone hit the turf as time expired on a 35 - 40 Wolverine defeat. Parker was able to toss three TDs on the day but the 2 INTs, one a pick 6 as the first half expired was the difference. Michigan will battle Minnesota for the Little Brown Jug next week at the Big House.

That's right, do not adjust your screen. Texas Tech went to Nebraska, and won.

Oregon takes care of Stanford, which has to be one of the worst teams in the PAC-10. On offense Ty Gaines had his first real good game of his seniior year with around 6 grabs and two touchdowns. The Ducks new running back by committee (read Perkins is not good enough to carry the ball 20 times a game) worked great.

The defense was led by Wilson with three sacks and Francis with an interception.

Big 10 plays started for the Bucks and they made their presence known. Big day for the defense getting 3 TD's on 3 turnovers. Rhoden made his return from the short injury and again raised eyebrows. Full summary in thread.

    Arizona 0

USC headed into Arizona and pitched a shutout on the wildcats. The defense played great all day only allowing 133 yards of offense to the wildcats. Barkley had another solid games minus a couple of interceptions. A solid win for the Trojans. Now USC heads to the oh so loved double bye week.
