Good stuff man. I was actually going to start on them last night, but was so exhausted I was in bed by 930. Appreciate this. Ill answer your questions this evening when I look at the game.

You know you can sort the stats by position and league right?

Yeah, I've got the AL pretty well done... Before I publish, I want to make sure I don't have any glaring omissions though.

Its not Teheran's fault our offense sucks. Also, 114 K's, 5.4/1 K/BB ratio, 3.6 WAR vs 65 K's, 2.3/1 K/BB ratio, 2.1 WAR. They have similar WHIP's, and each of them have 11/13 QS. Teheran makes a pretty damn good case for the Cy Young as well.

You have scored more than the cubs so our offense is worse that yours.

    • AL Cy Young? Danny Hultzen (SEA) 9-0 with a 2.06 ERA. Opponents are only hitting .226 against him and his ERA+ is 194. Not bad for the 24 year old.
    • NL Cy Young? Chris Capuano (CHI N) 10-1 with a 1.90 ERA and .97 WHIP. He may not be here at the end of the year, but not mentioning him now would be a snub.
    • AL MVP? Joe Mahoney (BAL) leads the AL in most offensive categories outside of HR.
    • NL MVP? Rafael Ortega (COL) leads the NL in most offensive categories, including WAR.
    • Who's your team's MVP? C Buster Posey. Posey leads the team in AVG, SLG, OPS, WAR, and RBI. He is also an outstanding fielder and calls a great game - +3.5 ZR, 35.3% caught stealing and 3.48 CERA.
    • Who should at least be considered for being on the ballot that may not be so obvious? SF MR Fernando Rodney currently sports a 0.42 ERA in 21 2/3 innings. Unfortunately, the game doesn't measure holds.

While I'm at it, how many per position should go on the ballot?

    Right now I have:

    5 C's
    5 1B's
    5 2B's
    5 SS's
    5 3B's
    5 SP's
    5 CL's
    12 OF's

Seem OK? Or need more SP's? Figured it'd be OK based on just voting for starters, right?

    • AL Cy Young? Hultzen (SEA)
    • NL Cy Young? Capuano (CHC)
    • AL MVP? Mahoney (BAL)
    • NL MVP? Ortega (COL)
    • Who's your team's MVP? Robinson Cano/Michael Pineda
    • Who should at least be considered for being on the ballot that may not be so obvious? Wilson Betemit - hard to believe this retread is hitting .260, with a .337 OBP, but most importantly is 2nd on the team with 13 HR and 41 RBI while hitting cleanup for me most of the year because of all the injuries we've had.
