In 2013 The Baltimore Ravens finished the regular season 8-8 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2007. Last season The Ravens struggled offensively as they ended the season with the 4th worst rating in the NFL. QB Joe Flacco was sacked for a career high 48 times and threw 22 INTs (another career high). The Ravens struggles can be accredited to poor offensive line play and although Baltimore didn't completely overhaul the O-Line they have added a couple of players that they hope will help them to reach the playoffs in 2014. Their first move was to acquire Jeremy Zuttah from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a replacement for Gino Gradkowski at the center position.

The Ravens will also need a strong showing at camp from 5th round draft pick John Urschel (G Penn State). Although it's a long shot for the Ravens to make their 3rd trip to the Super Bowl as long as they get better play from their O-Line they have a good chance to return to the playoff picture in 2014.

Another acquisition to note is the addition of veteran WR Steve Smith who was cut by the Carolina Panthers after spending 13 seasons in Charlotte.

After a Super Bowl win in 2012 and missing the playoffs in 2013 The Ravens are focused on returning to the playoff picture and bringing the Lombardi trophy back home to Baltimore.
