I just signed over my soul to the devil to coach a team that I have always hated. I am now the coach of the Ohio State University.

If I had turned down the job, you would've been offered next. What would you have done? Notre Dame, Florida, and all of the other good jobs were gone.

So did anything else happen in CC last night? Anyone change jobs or decide to stay at their school?

I was/am sick as a dog and asked Cheez to run the show last night...thanks man. I think I ended up at Kansas aaron :) Not sure I can duplicate what you did there but I had to get my ass in a BCS conference!

I recruited 5 or so JUCO guys that should be able to fill the biggest holes there. You should be fine there.

Where did everyone else end up?

I hate Ohio State too. I probably would have passed, but it would've been tough. I see Boston College hired a new coach, I wonder why I wasn't offered that one.

I'm probably stuck at Cincinnati now. My 2 year deal is up after this year, so I'm probably gonna have to re-sign with them after this season, so if I put in 2 more years I'm probably stuck there. And to top it off my best HB is going pro and my best young Olineman wants to transfer. It was a rough night for the Bearcats.

Or just don't sign the new deal and roll the dice with a new team. Are we already in players leaving? Can anyone post who is leaving for Ohio St?

Maybe. It will depend on how this recruit class and my next one finish up. If I can find a QB of the future, I'll probably just stay.

I'll look for you later. I have to take the 2 year old to the doctor in a little while. He's got some kind of rash.

Yeah, something else happened last night. I lost all respect for MexiRican35 and dakota7 for passing on the Oregon State job. ;) The PAC-12 North Division, aka Division of Death, would have gladly welcomed a new member. We wouldn't have needed any user non conference games because we were guaranteed 3 user games, and thrown in a fourth if you play Arizona, and it is all good. In addition, basically everyone is a rival with one another with Washington being rivals with all three, Oregon being rivals with the UW and OSU. While WSU is rivals with OSU and UW.

Now, I am denying reports that I was interested in other jobs. Vanderbilt and Minnesota never contacted myself or my agent about coming to their school

Kansas shouldn't have too much to do. There were only 12 seniors, and 10 scholarships were already filled. I was recruiting a few more guys but without offers.

I am assuming I shouldn't have any recruiting to do. It looks like Ohio State only had 7 seniors, so I'm assuming all of the slots are full. However, I will probably have tons of cuts.

Just to clarify, that was ALL respect......lol

To be perfectly honest, if Oregon State's roster wasn't so completely god-awful, I would've taken that job. But that team is 3 or 4 seasons from being able to compete with the best cpu teams, let alone other user teams.
