Quick summary - Decent QBs. Weak RB class. Great LT class One star MLB in the making One star FS in the making
Based on our NCAA league and who left for the NFL. It is the actual draft class that will be in our first season.
Many of the really good players (Clowney, Bridgewater, J. Football, etc...) went back for their senior season. The season 2 draft class will be absolutely loaded with talent.
So Lache Seastrunk, Ka'Deem Carey, De'Anthony Thomas, and other JRs like them didn't bolt I'm assuming? As well, Silas Redd, Ladarius Perkins, Carlos Hyde, and Alfred Blue didn't have good seasons? I'm interested to see how Madden will handle the SRs that are supposed to do well and came in rated high...like how they transition them.
I'm pretty disappointed with this class, mostly because my biggest need is RB and there isn't a big name there. I'll more than likely take the BPA and look to fill that hole through FA or trade.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT CJ MOSLEY - MLB/OLB Alabama Crimson Tide Age: 23 Height: 6-2 Weight: 232 40 Time: 4.63 225 LB. Reps: 25 Broad Jump: 9'5 Projected Round: 1st Round, Top 5 Potential Teams: Colts, Rams, Jags, Lions, Raiders Strengths: Elite Tackling, Speed, Pursuit, Pass Rushing, Awareness Weaknesses: Coverage NFL Player Comparison: A better Bruce Carter Quick Analysis Unquestionably the top linebacker in the 2014 draft. Will be a perfect MLB for teams running a 4-3 and a potential outside backer for teams running a 3-4. I think his college coach, uagrad90, would definitely recommend drafting him early.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT Taylor Lewan - LT Michigan Wolverines Age: 24 Height: 6-8 Weight: 309 40 Time: 5.2 225 LB. Reps: 37 Broad Jump: NA Projected Round: 1st Round, Top 10 Potential Teams: Colts, Rams, Jags Strengths: Tremendous Power Run Blocking ability, Strength, Nasty, Quick Feet Weaknesses: Above Average Pass Blocker (could be elite in time), the college he attended. Struggled with the elite pass rushers (see Clowney game). NFL Player Comparison: Jake Long Quick Analysis Lewan will be perfect for a team that emphasizes the power running game. If he can improve his pass blocking ability, he could a perennial Pro-Bowler.
No I would stay away from this player. He has issues that cause him to play very poorly. Matter of fact I think the perfect thing for this player is to force him to play for the Packers. That would truly stick it to his old college coach
