Yea, MLSsoccer.com's game center thing usually updates starting lineups before the game starts, but not always before the deadline. Unfortunately you kinda just got to follow every teams' twitter, they'll send out the starting lineups an hour before game time.
In first place, and that was even with 3 people putting up 0's last week! Anybody see what Rickets got the red card for? Good week in soccer for me overall though. Rooney scored a sick goal from half, I'm leading the TSO MLS Fantasy, and the Crew are sitting at 2-0-0 for the first time in team history! Got to watch the game from the Nordecke Saturday night too, was a pretty great atmosphere.
Ricketts red card was for a flying kick to the stomach. Deshorn Brown was on a break chasing a long ball, Ricketts came out, got there first but inexplicably forgot he could use his hands, missed the ball completely, foot to stomach.
Oh what the hell, somebody apparently lost a point for me! I had 48 on the week and a 1 point lead when I looked yesterday lol.
I'm loving MLS this year. Crew are 3-0-0, I'm leading the fantasy league and 531 out of 27,187 overall. Hopefully all of these trends continue
Didn't realize both Rimando and Beltran were going to sit after playing on Wednesday and was too busy needing to drink more to watch the f'ing Crew play. God they looked awful. Hopefully things get back to normal next weekend.
I had Beltran too, and I didn't realize V. Sanchez (COL) is a no-turf guy, so have to keep an eye on that one. I did make a nice transfer though...
I hated that guy for a day on Saturday. He completely bossed the midfield. Dude was unstoppable and the Crew decided that we weren't allowed to touch him with a 5 foot pole. We also crossed the ball 39 times without a player in the box over 5'10. So that went well.
So apparently Crew fans are the "World's Worst in Sports" for the night. I personally found the picture and reaction from Atlanta fans pretty hilarious. And the guy that tweeted it out is incredibly talented. He did the "Home" tifos at the US/Mexico game back in September.
6 double game weeks coming up this week. Hopefully I can make up some ground. We've been floundering lately.
