Brown vs. Braxton: Braxton Miller edged out Malcolm Brown in the closest Heisman Trophy race in the award's history, by six points. Now, he and his Buckeyes will try to do the same against Brown's Longhorns. Brown will play with a chip on his shoulder, trying to one-up the man that captured college football's most coveted individual award. Banged-Up Buckeyes: Ohio State won't be at full strength, as freshman standout Tavaris McLaurin nurses an injured shoulder. McLaurin missed the final four games of the season, but the Buckeye's didn't miss a beat offensively without him. They will look toward Miller, Biletnikoff winner Corey Brown, and fellow freshman Ray Hall to shoulder the load in TMC's abscence. Rich History: This is the fourth time these programs have met since the turn of the century. The Longhorns marched into Ohio Stadium in 2005 and upset Buckeyes, led by star Vince Young. The next season, Ohio State paid them back in Austin, as the #1 Buckeyes crushed #2 Texas 24-7. Two years later they met again in the Fiesta Bowl, as Colt McCoy beat the Bucks with a last minute drive. Now they meet in the Rose Bowl for the national championship.
