Grab your popcorn people, this will be the game of the year. Rutgers made a big mistake in overlooking Washington in week 2, as the Huskies stunned the nation with their big 41-31 upset over the Scarlet Knights, and projected them and their new head coach into a Cinderella story throughout the season. Rutgers will get its shot at redemption in a huge way in the National Title game. The 5th year head coach of Rutgers states he is very humbled to be in this game, he thought all bets were surely off after a loss in week 2, as in years past the Scarlet Knights got over looked with undefeated seasons.

In breaking down the stats, both teams are tough defensively. Rutgers is #33 in the nation in total defense allowed (3,796), while Washington is #19 (3450). Rutgers has a +6 turnover margin, while the Huskies have an astounding +23 turnover margin.

    Offensive stat leaders:

    Quarterbacks:

    Rutgers: J. Edwards 134/219 2794 yds 24 TDs 5 INTs
    Washington: N. Montana 114/186 2194 yds 20 TDs 6 INTs

    Rushing:

Rutgers: J. Harris 197 atts 1730 yds 25 TDs (Injured)
    Rutgers: J. Thomas 67 atts 498 yds 5 TDs
    Washington: D. Cooper 315 atts 2185 yds 31 TDs

    Receiving:

    Rutgers:

    C. Waller 14 recs 279 yds 2 TDs

Well I have a doctors apoointment tonight and I have to leave college to go home for it, so I wont be back till friday, so some time after 1240 on friday will work.

haha, wow, +23 is scary. I think it is cause I run the ball lik 99% of the time and my RB has 0 fumbles, but that is crazy

Coach Fuzzy was seen Hulk smashing his clipboard after the game. The Scarlet Knights lose a heart breaker in OT to Washington (42-35). Can't wait to see the write-up.

Damnit man you were supposed to bring it home to the Big East fuzzy. What the hell happened?! I just got the text update with box score about the game and it looks like y'all were lighting up the scoreboard.

One costly fumble, and one HUGE INT did me in. Broth is great at executing his gameplan to perfection, with no turnovers.

The motto for Rutgers should be "There's always next year".

I am excited about the future of the team though, we are finally getting top tier talent in recruiting and will be a fierce competitor over the next few seasons.
