I'd like to get to the 4-2-5 eventually but I just don't have the db depth. I made the switch to the 3-4 this season and I've liked it okay this far, though I'm not sure if my better defense is because of better players or the playbook.

Is there a lot of blitzes out of the 3-4?

There are enough for what I do. I like the different coverages it allows, and even if i send a blitz, I can still have 7 in coverage. I can send two backers and still keep pretty good tabs on receivers. I don't know that I've done it, but I could send 3 extras on a blitz and still have everybody manned up.

I like it. Its different but I have 2 stud LB's by armys standard and a Stud SS and the 4-2-5 allows me to keep these guys in the box, bring pressure from diff angles, and still cover decent too. We will see how it holds up in user games thought I've still got a lot to learn about this D.
