Texas got a nice recruiting haul when this group decided to commit before the end of the regular season. Another good OL prospect, Tucker has the frame to move inside and play Guard. Texas needed a TE in this class and they pulled through with Colt Jenkins. The Longhorns had to fight off LSU for this guy, but just look at him. 6'7 with enough athleticism to develop into a pass-catching threat, and his blocking will only get better. Gem of a everyone wanted this kid. Texas sort of has an embarrassment of riches at the position, so one of the rangier guys may move outside. The play of Dalton Santos this season no doubt helped sway Davis to sign with the good guys. Texas and ND found themselves in a battle for this out of state DE. Blake has the frame and strength needed to control the edge vs. the run, and if his pass-rushing abilities catch up... look out! Elite top-end speed, and a solid physical tackler. Looks like another great addition to DBU. Like the other CB signing, Jones excels in zone coverage but is a much better tackler than Poole.
UVA Recruiting Athlete Dan Gandy will see time at DB, solidifying a defensive secondary that needs to reload after this season. He will be a difference-maker and was a steal for this UVA coaching staff. Coach Powers thinks he is the best recruit signed this year by the Cavaliers. Rob Moore was another important sign for the Cavaliers, as their defensive secondary was led by 6 upper classmen. The four seniors that are leaving will leave big holes in the defense that can hopefully be filled by the duo of Gandy and Moore. Moore is a very good coverage corner and will be an asset to the Cavalier defense down the road. WR Michael Marshall is speed all the way, and that's what the cavalier WR core has lacked the last two seasons. He is expected to be a superstar at the next level as defenses tend to overcommit their safeties to help in the run game. If the safety walks down with this guy on the field, look out. It could be a homerun play. Guard Mario Sims will be an important role-filler for UVA. He is expected to be a consistent starter in 2 years and their best lineman in 3. UVA plans to continue their success by resupplying their talent from the ground up, or in this case- the line up. Players like Mario Sims will help them do that. In the flex bone offense, B-Backs play an important role. The traditional "FB" stereotype of a block-first mentality is not what they look for. For this reason, the coaching staff tends to prefer to convert High School Power HBs to the FB spot, but they couldn't pass on this exceptionally athletic FB: Tyrone Daniel. He will need to improve his speed a little to be the prototypical B-Back, but his 6'2" 249 lb frame could prove to be a force up the middle. A year or two behind current B-Back (and absolute animal) Kyle Dockins and Daniel could be UVAs leading rusher.

Have no idea on my recruits but some of them were decent but the majority were wet garbage. Never thought I'd see an Oklahoma squad look like this. Well, rebuilding is underway in Norman!
