Bama rolls Kentucky 44-3. Starting QB is a position up in the air right now as Phil Ely and Mike Green alternate to see who is the best player. After a 30 minute practice session, both QBs were sometimes more than 10 yds off on their throws and had trouble hitting 5 yard curls. In game however, both were quite accurate and hit their WRs in stride. Pre-game practice seems to be entirely different then when its game time.

Well, it's definitely easier to run. My critique of the passing accuracy came after i spent 20 minutes in practice and my guys where overthrowing/underthrowing while standing still in the pocket by like 5-10 yards...so that's why i was like..."wtf". In game though, both QBs, with 80 and 89 THA did pretty well, similar to last season. so i don't know what happened and y there was a huge difference in practice vs game. users should be able to run significantly easier this year. although both me and greg were able to run at a 6 ypc clip last year, so...maybe we had better olines? but i don't think that was the case. anyway, they were fine to me.

i freaked out over practice mode in the OD, with the QB accuracy, but in game it was noticable but not nearly as bad as practice.

LOL! My apologies man. Checked with some other guys on the site and yep. If you advance to week 1 from the wire, you lose custom schedules.

It will make you look forward to next year's scheduels :)

First rule of skype is that anything PA and Screw say will have to be ridiculed.

Second rule is that hating Ryal is generally smiled upon especially after #rajgate.

Also AJ and Screw are the biggest whiners of an already whiny bunch.

For the second straight year Stanford opened the season against Utah. After losing to Utah in the 2012 Pac 12 championship game, the Cardinal avenged the loss in week on last year. This year coach Clutch hoped to get his Stanford team on a two year winning streak and start the season off with a win. Well things didn't start well for Stanford as the kick returner fumbled the opening kickoff and Utah takes over on the 25 yard line. On the second play Crenshaw would force a fumble on the QB scramble. Plantaric recovers the ball on the 15 yard line for Stanford. Barry Sanders would break off a big run on third down but he would also fumble and the Utes would recover the ball on the 44 yard line. Utah would then get the only score of the fourth quarter on a 16 yard catch by Scott.
Stanford would go three and out early in the second, but the defense would also force a three and out. The next Cardinal drive would end with and Eric Schultz fumble. The Cardinal would finally get on the board with a 25 yard field goal from freshman redshirt kicker Phillips. Jordan Richards would end the Utes drive with an interception. Only two plays later Utah would have the ball again as they picked off the Schultz pass. This would lead to a 30 yard field goal by Tolbert.
Third quarter opens up with a three and out by the Utah offense. With 3:31 left in the third Stanford would get its first touchdown of the game and tie the game on a two yard run by Barry Sanders Jr. Eric Reynolds would pick off a Hansen pass that he tipped to himself. Of course Eric Schultz would throw another pick that was returned 20 yard to the Stanford 46 yard line. Hansen would fumble again on a scramble but Utah would recover.
Fourth quarter would open up with a 39 yard field goal miss by Tolbert. Stanford then goes three and out. The next Stanford drive they would finally take the lead on a play action pass to Ty Montgomery. Reynolds would lay out the WR on a screen play to force the fumble and A.J. Tarpley would recover for the Cardinal on the Utes 27 yard line. Barry Sanders Jr. would get another touchdown this time on a 14 yard screen pass. The rest of the game would see a fumble from Hansen and Schultz but both offenses would recover each time. Hansen would also throw a pick on a fourth and one. All told there where 12 combined fumbles and interceptions in this game. Stanford gets the win 24-10.
